Video Guide

Now that I'm done with the Halo: Combat Evolved video guide, I'll be moving onto Resident Evil 4. Is there anything you'd like to see in this? Any tips you'd like to give? Again - I don't do commentary. Only my partner video guide makers do that - Star_Meteor_Dragon and Axionas.

I'd actually like to know if anyone has any tips for the first village. It's been a long time since I've played this game, but I know there's some jackhole with a chainsaw there. I'm not a fan of running, so I'd like to blow his brains all over the floor.

I should be able to start the video guide on Tuesday.

Yeah, don't waste shotgun ammo. Shoot the eye, then use the action button to round house kick him.


Same with enemies, aim for the head when they are in groups, your invincible during animations.


Also when they are laying on the ground, use the knife.

Simple stuff.

Dear God I hope it's easier on PC than GC.

^Apparently, it isn't. The PC version received worse reviews than all the other versions because of the awkward controls.

Guess I'll just have to use my xbox controller then.

._. Wow. Those controls really are complete crap. No mouse use at all? It wouldn't even tell me which buttons to use. I almost got raped by the first guy with an axe.

Told you only 'tards use rocket launchers on Salazar.
It's been years since I've battled him, so that one hit was excusable.

Also, PC controls suck, so a few missed shots at first were excusable as well.

I'm on the beginning of chapter 5, so I should be done soon.

The fight is faster, no one said it was the only way. I spammed the broken butterfly on him during my first playthrough.

I tried to do the same. That doesn't work well on PC though. ):
I'm serious. The aiming SUCKS. That's why I missed so much. I had 100 percent accuracy on the Gamecube version. I'm down to 83 percent accuracy on this PC version.

You run with WASD. To pull out your knife, you hold down the left shift key and aim it with WASD. To pull out your gun, you hold down the right shift key and aim with WASD. It's incredibly annoying to have to use that WASD key combo to aim rather than the mouse.
YOU CAN'T EVEN USE THE FREAKING MOUSE IN THIS GAME.

I feel bad for you, maybe you should have saved up for a capture card.
