That should be a cheat or something, it kills everything in one hit lol.

Especially after you beat the game, and you unlock the infinite rocket launcher...pwned.

when fighting the garrador(claws guy) you do not need to shoot him, or run away from him. Simply back up from him slowly, and wait till he passes you, then slowly turn around, pop him in the back, and then walk somewhere else.

The easiest way to kill the El Garrador is to throw a grenade (incendiary will do it) at him, so it weakens him to the point that the parasite pops out of his back.

Then, shoot the parasite a few times (1-4, depending on how strong it is, and how strong your gun is) with the Shotgun or Rifle until he dies. Each time you shoot him, be sure to back out of the path he will run by walking, so he misses you, and you can turn around and shoot him again.

It is a good plan, but you don't need to waste a grenade. All I do is walk around him so i am facing his back, and then pop him with in the plagas with the handcannon. 99 power=pwnage. but since you don't have that, use the sniper rifle.

Grenades are easy to come by though, or, at least, incendiary are.

Eh, that is true, wonder if a flash grenade would instantly kill the plagas like on the human hosts.

Hmm... Also, I wonder if it works on the plagas on the back of Gigantes.

Heres my tip... ask C-I-G

When you are fighting the people with the parasites I found it easier to kill the creatures with a shotgun. Or I did get the flash granade thing to work a little though... sometimes it just stunned the parasite thing.

Flash grenade should instantly kill all levels of the plagas. A shotgun is good, when you get a chance, and farther in the game, by the stinger shotgun, that is the best. At full power it is a 10 in power, and when it is fully upgraded, it hold 100 bullets of pure stopping power.

I am playing thru again as 1st time thru to refresh my memory and I found a great tip, that I had never done before. After you defeat "Del Lago" in the lake and arrive at the river check this out. After you shoot down boxes and cross river, and have flipped the lever to divert the water around the falls, start back accross to enter the falls. As you should know by a previous note you picked up their is something behind the waterfall that will allow you to enter the church. When you start across ganados from the falls and other side will emerge to stop you. Go back to the shore on the lever side and shoot them when they jump on the floating boxes to cross the river. Everyone will fall in the river and you can go under the falls at your leisure. Wish I'd figured this one out along time and 1000's of rounds of ammo later. Happy Hunting.

Thanks Gamepat. I am sorry, but i will have to delete this post because is a double post. sorry.

Later on in the game, you will have the chance to buy 2 magnums, the Broken Butterfly, and the killer 7. But the butterfly, when fully powered up, its power is 50, it can take out any boss in 4 shots.

Or you could just get the Broken Butterfly from Chapter 3-4 in that room with the Piggyback option after you get Ashley back...


Also, I tried Flash grenade on the El Gigante. It does not work.


Also, another tip, don't waste your Incendiary grenades on El Gigantes. They do nothing. NOTHING.

Oh well thanks for clearing that up, I know that you can use them to temporarily blind them.

If you use a flash grenade on zealots with helmets on, it will not do anything.

I hate those fudging zealots with helmets. First time I saw one, I wasted bullets majorly shooting at the head.

Same here, you can use a shotgun and shoot them in the neck, and get an instant kill sometimes.
