Hey guys, having never touched a drum kit before in my life i approached rock band optimistically and have found that I can 100% songs on expert drumming and pretty much play all of them.. Downloading All That Remains may have killed me xD but since i have purchased GH:world tour and Rock Band 2 and have come to the conclusion 'that i am awesome' =P lol
Anyways what was my point.. oh yeah. I've still never played a real drum kit, do you think it would benefit me in any way to learn how to play the drums for real?

Drumming on Rockband before playing real drums gives you a head start than if you just started playing drums. You'll have somewhat of a sense of time and you will know some beats to play.
The problem lies in the rebound of the drums, and the fact that now you don't have a screen giving you the notes and you must memorize everything you are gonna play.
