Shadow of the tomb raider

My 6 year old is playing the game and pretty much refuses to scavenge for materials. He just wants to play it His way. Any materials he does get he sells to the merchant to buy guns he cant upgrade....cuz he just sold all his materials. He goes into battles with no arrows or ammo and expects me to get him out. So my question is how the hell can I CHEAT in some gold so he can just buy the supplies he needs? I keep searching for cheats and for some reason the internet thinks I wabt tips and tricks. He wont listen to reason. I just want a simple gold cheat. Please for the love of god dont tell me he needs to mine for gold cuz I ******* know that! Im on ps4 btw
