yeah, but knuckles can fly, climb and punch and tails can fly and spindash. That's why I think knuckles is best.

...and I like Tails becuase he can fly,and not lose altitude like Knuckles does when he glides.Besides,Tails has an IQ of 250,rides around in a huge machine,AND he Spindashes.Besides,why would he need to climb and glide if he can fly altogether? :p

So?At least he can fly up higher and quicker than Knuckles can climb.Like I said:He loses alltitude while he's gliding,meaning he keeps on falling down,slower and slower,until he either 1.Hits the ground 2.Flys off into the background and dissapears 3.Grabs onto a wall,or 4.Flys into spikes/bottomless pit and dies.

I agree with Tomsonic, tails is the best, he can fly and on act 2 of ice mountain he can take outm the boss just by flying up to it and he's saved Sonic's life so many times, even on X-Zone when the place explodes, Amy is easily the worst character, slow, can't spin dash, can't fly, cant glide, and is slow!

i say tails is the best because 1. he can fly [duh!] 2. he's REALLY smart. 3. because in all games i play, sonic and tails are pready much the same till it comes 2 super sonic. 4. in sonic 3 and knuckles, tails can go super tails and ultra tails and is fast like super sonic [ and atacking birdies to boot!] 5. as someone said before, if it was not for tails, sonic would be dead. [phew!] if someone can top this, ill give them a try. :3
