1 of my chao has a skull on its head and it wont come off i threw it and hit it with all the characters

You need to attack it with Knuckles/Rouge.If it dosen't come off,then your out of luck.

Sadly, you'll have to pick the Chao up and throw it against a wall!
This gets objects off their heads - as harsh as it is - it works!

Just use an opposite character, like if it likes Shadow, hit it with Sonic, no harm done.
