Ok, i have an AR, and i added tons of codes that change the color of chao, but i don't know how to activate them once i am in the game. i mean, i just click on one of the codes, then i press start and put the game disk in and start the game, but when i get to the chao garden, i don't know what to do after that! Please if anyone know or has done this let me know! Thanks.

okay, im not too sure, but try this:
upload sa2b, go to options, create a new file at the bottom (each mem card can hold 2 files) and beat city escape with the chao key.
hatch both chao, then hit start then hit exit, then when it saves, turn off. Upload AR, type in one of the codes, like topaz, red, watermelon etc. one of the chao should be a different colour.

im not sure... oh wait! the very first chao in your normal garden changes color.
