You get all the Sol emeralds, i believe.

After you have both chaos emeralds and sol emeralds you go to the volcanoe and you battlethe boss.Its eggman because when Captian Whiskers gets the Scepterthing he says something like "The boss will be very pleased" and his boss is eggman.
