Do you think Sonic Unleashed is the game that will bring Sonic back?

I personally think it will. It got an rating of 8 in the Nintendo magazine, and the storymine is great. It brings back Sonic's speedness, and although the werehog is SLOW, he does have other abilities.

It'll have to take more than one game to make Sonic good again, after all the bad criticism the last games have gotten. But it certainly gave something to look forward to for other Sonic games.

Kind of strange how they decided on a wherewolf form compared to his other previous forms.

Phil: I do agree that this will hopefully help. Sonic Unleashed is probably the starting of Sonic's comeback. I don't really know if Sonic and the Black Night will help though.....

Nope, it won't. Although it is an OK start of Sonic coming back.

Well it's not much as a comeback game but probably other future Sonic games like Sonic and the Black Knight might give Sonic the comeback after getting noticed in Super Smash Bros Brawl.

I agree, Sonic in SSBB was a suprise to me.

CM&CS: Even though Sonic being in Brawl wasn't such a good idea (they made him way too weak and not-as-playable), it was still a surprise to most of the Sonic Fans. But I think that Sonic and the Black Knight will not bring Sonic back. I mean, seriously, Sonic with a sword???

You do have a point Sonic_Master. It does seem a little weird Sonic with a sword. Since Shadow can use swords in Shadow the Hedgehog,I think it would be called Shadow and the Black Knight. True I was stoked that Sonic was in Brawl. He did look weak except in his Final Smash Form where he can kick butt. I have a friend who can totally agree with you SM. He thinks Sonic is more of a letdown.

I am probably the only one saying this but, i wish that in this game, sonic could kick and punch, especially in the movie when sonic becomes a where-hog,because where sonic makes his scene,a robot could have came up ans sonic would start punching and kicking.

It brings back speed adventure and fun a true Sonic game

Someone who I can totally agree with! Although he does do that in Sonic Battle. With all the kicking and punching Sonic would do in Sonic Unleashed,it would take part of the fun away.

Hey, better punching than sword fighting, huh? lol
But still, that's not the Sonic Style.

Also, what really depressed me is that you can't do Sonic's classic move-the Spin Dash in Sonic unleashed (except in the beginning of a level).

well, i think the day stages were pretty good, but the night stages...

Point is: first time he transformed, Eggman made him lose the Chaos Emeralds when he reversed the polarity of them. Man, could there be anyone more evil than Eggman's evil plans?

Wow Eggman....more like Eggdam! EVIL!!!

I just rented the game. It's very good. I haven't had such a joy in a Sonic game ever since Adventure DX.
