It was practically ignored at E3 2006 and it's seen delays and a platform jump from GameCube to Wii, but Super Paper Mario is finally on the way and will hit shops on April 9.
Nintendo's announcement comes in the form of a wedding invite - Peach and Bowser's wedding. "The nuptials will take place at the beginning of Super Paper Mario.
"Those who wish to attend - or thwart - the ceremony will need to switch between 2-D and 3-D."
To normal people, that last bit wouldn't make any sense. But we're not normal people - we love giant, screen-filling retro sprites, Goombas and Tanooki suits, and can't wait for this ultra-cool-looking retro-style platformer.
You'll hear us shout the UK release date as soon as Nintendo tells us.
