lol and generaly ike is slow but is a compleate powerhouse move set execept for speed dash wich is good it is a balence he is hevy wont fly far and sometimes and be fast he doesnt suck im suprised they put him as a starting charicter he is so good

Who said Ike is exactly like Marth? That person is thinking of Roy from Melee. Marth and Roy were exactly the same. And whoever thinks ROY sucks, he was my best character in melee.

people think ike sucks because marth is faster then him and they think thats all the reason they need,BUT, ike is much more powerful and his slower moves allow him to be a perfect thing for very skilled player to use

His attacks are really slow and predictable.
You can also dodge them easily.
He runs reeeeeaaaaaallllyyyyy slow.
His recovery also sucks.

I'm good with both Ike and Marth.Marth is fast and has a good attack, and Ike is slower but has a stronger attack.Neither is better than the other.It just depends on the player. The same goes for every character in the game.

A strategy I often use with Ike is wait for the enemy to come to me. I charge up my smash attacks and release them on on my enemies when they get in front of me.

I just do rolling dodges behind people, then attack them. They can't react quick enough to dodge Ike's attacks and they suffer!
