I know a few ways of beating monsters faster.For example,the Rock Golems you first see in the first Dungeon have a weak point:Their feet.When attacking,simply continuously rush them without stoping,keep on running towards them even after youve reached them.Then simply attack.Do not worry about getting hit,for they will miss you when they swing their arms around!

Actually I think that if you rush them then push back using rising falcon will get you a quick death for them. What are you doing fighting rock golems O.O thats pretty early in the game

A good way to fight yuggdrasil (sorry on spelling) in all his forms including mithos is to charge and retreat. this helps protect against his holy lance attack and some others such as judgement.
This is the best team I ever had! (Pokemon Diamond, first time)

well, the computers(AKA AI) will typically just stay and fight because you can't control them that well.

I know what you mean. I have Collette set to attack flying enemies from afar and she always bumrushes the biggest monster and I end up having to waste a life bottle.

Kratos = attack same as you
Genis = 25%% mana and far away
Raine = 0% mana and far away
Collete = Middle
