Can i mod the game to have two player in springfield/freeroam??

Is there a way to mod the game to have 2 player in springfield? I've never modded before but ive seen a lot of tutorials but im on a mac and most people use windows, I just bought the game yesterday on my xbox 360 and i've already finished the levels and i really want to roleplay with my brother in springfield. Please help me.
