Use Mystery Box multiple times for only 6 donuts

If you have (6) donuts, you can use the Mystery Box multiple times and keep every item for only (6) donuts.

- use the mystery box [view the item] don't not click anything...
- double tap iPad power button and turn "Simpsons Tapped Out" app OFF
- go back into Simpsons Tapped Out app and go back to Mystery Box. (you should still have your donuts)
- buy the Mystery Box again...
- double tap power button again and close app.
- go back into Simpson app and buy mystery box again... (donuts should still be there)
- check your inventory... You should have all mystery box items with donuts still in tact.

Worked for me up to (5) times until I got "white fences" in the mystery box.
- squeaky voice kid
- angel topiary
- $500
- dumpster
- white fence (3)

"after I got the white fence my 6 donuts were gone when I went back into the app, I believe since the white fence is considered (3) items it ended the glitch or whatever you wanna call this"

Please someone else try this out and confirm because it worked for me first time and when I get (2) more donuts I'll have enough to try it again. I only tried this in the first place because I know it works for other games like Draw Something in order to get better words. Thanks

Nope, didn't work for me.

-Bought the mistery box
-got a parking lot but didn't touch it
-closed the app
-reopened it and my donuts were gone

6 donuts for a parking lot :P

Tried it again...

Double tapped the main button to close the app and all...

Got the Angel Topiary this time but the donuts still got used up

I'm sorry fellas for your negative results, but it has worked for me last night and again this afternoon. My results have varied though. Today I got another $500 and another white fence (3). Wasn't worth it but It was a result.

I am using an iPad2, it did not work on my iPhone4.

- I close the app immediately after I click on the mystery box.
- then immediately reopen the app and check my inventory.

Thanks again for the quick responses because I needed to know that I wasn't the only one to try this.
I will keep trying and report my results as I get them. DO NOT try this "glitch" unless you have some donuts to spare, because apparently the results do differ.

Mystery box is a waste of time. Nothing but bushes and fences. Even the premium item is crap. I ended up with two burning bushes and 2 newspaper dispensers.

It doesn't work and the OP is just trolling you to waste donuts. It's the cool thing to do right now. Apparently if you tap homer 50 times and then lisa 25 times then send principal skinner to the quickie mart then tap apu 37 times you will get 10,000 donuts and a new car. Try it! You'll see. It worked for me just last night while I was watching Bob's Burgers. Obviously since Bob's Burgers was on last night, I must be telling the truth...

Do you have to be watching Bobs Burgers for this to work? What kind of car did you get?

It works but as soon as you buy it you must press the home button twice power off your device boot it up again close the running apps by pressing twice the home button buy it again and if you like the item keep it hope this helps
