You need to kill one of you're tribe members for the death daisy to appear.

you can kill a tribe member by either locking them in a room with nothing in it. and the potion helps you bring back one crew member (i think) i haven't used it in a long time.

not everyone has the same characters on this game, just to let you know. but there is i believe one or two crew members at every island. you don't really look for them. they usually show up to your camp one day.

The death daisy only appears when a sim has died. Grows from the gravestone.
