So, I got a new laptop yesterday and downloaded my sims 2 double deluxe on it, which I had played on my pc desktop. When I press ctrl shift c on my desktop, the normal cheat window comes up, but when I play it on my laptop and press ctrl shift c the cheat window doesn't come up. Does this have anything to do with me switching the computer...? Please help me... this game sucks without cheats

It should come up.
It does on my sisters laptop.
And, in my opinion, the game is much better without cheats.
Sims 1 included, although sometimes you need cheats for that. Buy mode choice is much more limited then the Sims 2.

If your laptop is using Windows Vista, then you cannot use CTRL+SHIFT+C. A solution is to use CTRL+SHIFT+Windows key+C to open the cheat bar during gameplay. Hope this helps!

Lies. I have Window's Vista and it works just fine.
I had that problem with my old computer, as well. It's nothing to do with your game, it's just that some computer won't let you use cheat's like that. You may want to use his other idea, but I have Windows Vista and it works just fine. I believe the game is better without cheats anyway, but yea. All our own opinions.
