First you wont be able to adopt a pet for a while, but if you use the phone to adopt a pet your pet should appear with the other orphan animals. Be patient until then.

Just wait and be good then try to adopt again.hope it worked

You can adopt your pets back from the shelter after the negligent feeling gose away but they won't stay there for long after that

That happen to me b4 but I shift clicked the the social worker then added me family then get grim reaper cheat

the same thing ahppened to me

I eanted to keep my pet, so when the workers come, type in, "moveovjects on" and deleted the social workers with shift click. I had to do this a few times and ro make sure they were fone, save game and if a mesaage oops up, dont yet, keep deleting tje workers. Once it doesnt come up ur good. U srill havw ur per but ur sim will be sad.
