To have a baby you must have a partner.First make them get on the bed(click relax)Then press try for baby.You can tell if it works if they both go under the bed sheets.

Boy or girl?
Your sim will be taken to hospital and then you must give your child a name.However it does not tell you if it is a boy or girl so I suggest to give it a boy or girl name(Charlie, Sam, Georgie)It will turn out to be a first grader.

You know, my sims had a baby recently and the mother wished to have a girl, I promised the wish and then she had a girl. No watermelons or anything. Do you think that promising this wish makes you have a girl, or was it just a coincidence?

[i]There is a way to tell if uhave boy or girl, all you need is when mum wishes for girl, press it and make it a promise, then when the mum ishes for a boy, makethat apomi, when she goes to have a baby, one of them will flash and disapere, then you can give them a boy nme if te boy wish goes away (Example: Toby) o a irl nme if the girl wish goes away (like Molly)

Mine doesnt say, 'try for a baby' it just says 'woohoo' is there a differance?

Purely coincidence. It is randomly generated UNLESS you force a girl or boy (for a girl eat 3 watermelons during pregnancy and for a boy, eat 3 apples).

Yes, there is a difference between "Woohoo" and "Try for a Baby". Woohoo is making out and Trying for a baby... well, self evident. If you don't have it, just continue ensuring your sims are romantic with each other and the option will appear. Sims don't like it when you do the same thing multiple times however so try a few various things and it should be an option in no time.

I managed to click pause just before my lady came out of the hspital and it said Had A Boy! before i could name it so keep pausing and hopefully you should be if its a girl or boy.

Well, I had the game for at least 1 year now, and I tried to have a baby and it wont let me! What do I do?

the truth is that the watermelon thing did work.I tried it once and it worked Because I ate a lot of apple (less than 5) then I got a boy my wish came true

My sim on wii had a boy baby, then she wen home, and immediatly she tried for a baby, she was taken to the hospital and had a baby girl.
The cheat said they would be twins but tey weren't!
After that I was confused.com!!!
But I cant be bothered to try again because last time i had three kids and i couldnt look after them all, so the were taken away by the social services!
