The Xbox version is proved much better than the wii version for having baby sims, as on the xbox one they come out as baby's; children teen adult. while the wii version only follows through child, teen adult. I did have the xbox version and got really used to it and then my xbox broke. i now have the wii version and i am grate-full but i would love the best version back. Just for the record: the watermelons and apple trick does work.

It's easy to have a baby,you just make two sims lie down on a bed (which is relax),then click on try for a baby and if you want a boy have three apples in a row or a girl you need to have three watermelons in a row.Then your sim will be taken to hospital to have the baby and whatever gender you've used it will turn out like that.I hope this works for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you have a baby in sims 3 ds? Not 3ds just ds lite

if it just says woo hoo then that means that there is too many people in your family or you are not the male\female's partner the only way to do it is that the female does not live with you then try for a baby then when she has the baby if you want her and the baby to live with you then you press LT and A on the baby first then it will say add to family or have birthday click on add to family and then the baby will be in your family do the same to the mom then all your family will be in your family

When my Sims have babies it normally tells me if its a boy or a girl. Is that just cause I have Sims 3 on PC or something, I dunno to be honest

I had triplets from this so listen up:
1 eat 2 apples
2 eat 3 watermelon
3 eat a hot dog
4 try for baby 4 times
5 wait till girl sim is nauseous
6 wait three days
7 have babies
(it worke dfor me to have triplets 2 times and twins 1 time so might be twins but hope hard and most likely will be triplets!)
