How do you rename a sims

You think thats bad i named my SON tiffany by accident

How do i change The sims name?

You can go on ultimate makeover and rename them although it is 12lps

You CAN rename a sim, and change their appearance, by clicking on them and selecting "extreme makeover". It costs, though, I don't know how much.

Yes you can by using the ultimate makeover option. Just click on the sim you want to change while you are in control of that sim so click on yourself lol then you will see the ultimate makeover option. It does cost 12LPs so just keep that in mind.

I wanted to name a sim after my friend( girl) I got the gender and the looks as close as you can get to perfect, and i typed in the right name, but when I added the sim to the town, it was renamed Brandy Cull. And to my understanding, there is nothing I can do, so, yeah im kinda ******.

I named my sims after anime characters but I forgot to change their last names. Ichigo Mitchell?? I wanted it to be Ichigo Momomiya.

It can be possible! I had someone play in my device on sims free play and they changed the name on one if my sims but I don't know how!

You can change the name by getting the ultimate makeover its 12 LPs though. I called my boy baby Makenzie instead of a girl. Hope it helps..

Your sims last name will change to
match who does the asking to move in.

I decided to name my sims after charters from the twilight movies . I decided to to make Aro (from the volturi) I made him and then moved him in with some off my other sims so I would be able to make more of the charters from twilight. I moved him in with my sim that is Carlise Cullen. I don't know what happened but now his surname has been changed to "Cullen". Does anyone know how I can fix it without creating another sim.

Harry Potter character guy: Move Ron in with one of the twins or something, relocate Ron, then move Hermione in with Ron. Problem solved. Also it's Weasley not Weasly

Anyone: To rename wife/husband BACK to married name, relocate wrongly named, then ask wrongly named person to move in with wife/husband.

I think We can rename and change sex in the sims. Click Ultimate make over to the sims you want o change. But it isn't free , we need 12 purple diamonds

Ok, if you change the last name of friends that are living together, will the friend you change still be living in the house? I think the house hold has to have the same name. Let me know if I am wrong please

just tried it now and yes they have to have the same last name so you can't change the last name.
