How do you rename a sims

I wish you could change their name because I named him a name that I do not like ?

I really wish you could.. I had a sim devorce another sim an it still kept the last name.

You should be able to rename because I named mine wrong too.

Well I want to change the sims first name and m having trouble with it!!! Can you change the first name or do you ha e to abandon the sim???

I named my Sim Mike but when I added him the name was Sean

If you accidently name a sim incorrectly or set it as the wrong gender/Skin colour you can delete the sim and start again but you will lose all the data from that sim so if you do this ensure you do it quickly and nothing will be lost if done!!!

You Can give a sim a makeover,By clicking on them.But the makeover is expensive

So I tried this 'Ultimate Makeover'. It cost 12 LP. From there you can change the name, gender, etc. Just click the your selected sim.

This is so annoying because I made a baby and tried to call it Lucy but I pressed randomise by accident and then changed the look back to how it was before and then it said add Reenee to town and I clicked yes before reading it so yeah

Change your Sims name, traits, aspirations, and even their bodies. Using CAS in full-feature mode:
Press Ctrl + Shift + C to open the cheats console.
Type the following, then press enter:
testingCheats on
Type the following, then press enter:
cas.fulleditmode
Press Esc to close the console.
Now Shift + Click any of your Sims, and select Edit in CAS
Change everything from body, to traits, names, voices and so on. Once you are done, hit Okay on the bottom right to save the changes.

They should update the game and make it where you can change the name if you want/need to. I accidentally messed up on my female sims last name, and can't even fix it.

I have two women sims as roommates (with no romantic connection) and when I tried to have one Sim have a baby, the other women ended up being the mother of the child. Is there anyway of correcting this mistake?

You can change the name,sex the whole thing really if you tap on a SIM with the plumbob/green thing above their head and press ULTIMATE MAKEOVER which is a cost of 12LP!

I believe the ONLY WAY to change a sims DNA, sex, or name, is to tap on the sim and select "Ultimate Makeover" for 12 LP. This way you can change practically anything you want about the sim. You're basically giving them a "makeover" like in the name.

you can,t rename a sim

[color=red][/color] If this is for Sims Freeplay then just do "Ultimate Makeover" for 12 LP. Hope this worked!!!
