Growing preteen into adult? Divorce?

Does anyone know how to grow a preteen into an adult? It was so easy with the baby and toddler, are they stuck as pretends? No one wants that, it's a terrible fate. Also, wouldn't mind divorcing one of my couples, but not sure how. Any advice is much appreciated :

Yeah, preteens are stuck as preteens. Hope they update it to go further and I haven't tried divorcing couples but I am going to try in the near future. I think you just make them complain and be rude to eachother until the divorce option comes up. Hope this helps.

I tried to get a couple that was dating and I couldn't get them to break

You use the negative options until you get the divorce option for divorce.

First Open Your 1stCouple And To Your 2ndCouple Make Them Talk Like "Be Romantic" "Be Nice" "Be Funny" " Be Rude" & "Complain" .. You Can See There A "Complain" Click That Never Stop Clicking Dat Until It Turns In To Divorce But First Your Sims Should Be Married

Just make your sims be mean to one another. If they are married, eventually the option will appear to divorce. If they are dating or something, it will just eventually change their relationship status.

You must use negative chat options for the divorce button to appear.

I had a dating couple once and divorced them. You only have to make them be rude and a divorce option will come up to you. Hope this works a swell as it worked for me. Sorry if it didnt work well for you. : smile :

I have tried the 'Be Rude' button on one of my couples and the divorce button came up, but then I tried it again on another one of my couples like a thousand times and the divorce button wouldn't come up... :/
I think it only works on a few couples, can anyone help??

Just out of curiosity...for those who have divorced sims, how do the living arrangements change? Do they still live together as roommates? Do they relocate automatically? Are you forced to relocate them?

You can get one sim example da girl and make her be romantic with another person somtimes this doesnt work if it does there should be a negative sign on top of the married boys head

All I had to do was to make them be rude once, then you gotta look in the bottom right corner, and then they should be able to divorce.

To make a preteen grow to an adult, I think they have to master a hobby
Like Karate or Ballet. It takes a loooooong time. I have 4 preteen s. (19sims) and also, when the sims divorce, they stay in the same house. I didn't have to get them angry. When I had the husband click on wife, it just popped up. They live in the same house. Everything's normal. I believe they can marry other single adult sims. Hope it helps!
