They cant grow up. Unless the suggestion of preteens growing into teens is requested enough, then the producers get annoyed and update the game with them growing.

What you do is the female or male sim will be mean to each other like rude or complain, and soon the divorce sign will pop up. You can not brake up with a dating. only with the parter.

How do you make a preteen grow into an adult? I have 81 sims and about 50 are preteens. A few of them have mastered a hobby (level 6/6) and also have an A+++ in school. Is the only thing they are good for is to earn $700 a day in school and earn XP?

I divorced a married couple the thing u have to do is one of the the married sim complain to the other other married sim like 2 or 3 times than u click it again it would say divorce so i hope this helps

It's easy enough to make them divorce, but I heard preteens cannot grow up, no matter what you do. And a toddler will remain a toddler forever if you never decide to make it grow up, so yeah. It varies on how long for the "divorce" thing to pop up.
