having to restart tasks

Is anyone else having a problem with the sims free play? I was almost done with 3 tasks yesterday morning. I had gotten almost to the end of a 10 hour task (within a half hour of completion) 3 times and have had to start over. Now I can't even keep it loaded? The tasks are of course part of quests and because of this problem have not been able to complete the quests on time. It is the Styles of Time, Need for Steed, and A Dance to Remember. I have been only playing for a few weeks at most. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!
