I'm kind of undecided on getting this game, I tried it once and though nothing special of it. Now next week I can either buy a XBOx 360 and a game or two, or a few (2-5) XBOX games. Should I get the 360 or pick up this and some other titles.

Tough decision, This game is better than the first two in my opinion, although I still play them, but I love my 360 also. Chaos Theory won't play on the 360 either, well at least not on mine. I bought the hard drive seperate and downloaded the update.
You can also play split screen co-op missions.
Not trying to make up your mind for you. Can't tell you if you'll personally enjoy this game, but I can tell you if you like XBox, you'll love 360.

I recommend getting the 360, becaused I think there's a splinter cell game for that. Isn't it called like Double Agent or something?

It's not out yet. Coming out in September, unless they change the release date again. I can't wait for that one either.

If it keeps up the excellent norm of splinter cell games, and with the graphics of 360, it should be pretty frickin sweet.

Well I got my Chaos Theory working on 360. I just had to transfer my account and download another update.

I am going to get Double Agent for the normal Xbox when it comes out. Can the Xbox version and the 360 version play live together? If so, coo.

I doubt they will be compatible online. Their will be differences in the graphics programming. I will check in to it though.
Edit: I asked Ubisoft and they don't know yet.

Games on the different consoles are not compatible with each other. As they are written differentley and have somewhat different servers.

You never know with XBox and Ubisoft. Ubisoft couldn't answer the question yet, so they may be trying to get it done so you can.

It didn't happen on G.R.A.W or on Battlefield 2: Modern Combat. So I'm assuming it will be the same as G.R.A.W is also made by Ubi Soft.

If they don't get it to work, we'll just have to play Chaos Theory online people that don't have 360's.
