Help Needed On Extracting from 4th Level

I have been playing Chaos Theory on my xbox 360 and off for several weeks. All went well until the "go to extraction point messages came up. Went back to Penthouse and triesd 2 ways to get on elevator (through bath room crawlspace and bypassing the 3rd camera and into the elevator. Wether i'm at the bottom of the elevator or on top of it no exaction point comes up. I have tried replaying the level many times and can't get the call to extract message to come up. Am I doing something wrong?
Any help would be appreciated

You have to be in the elevator.

I" have been in the elevator entering from either the crawl space (i get the go to extraction message before entering) i still donot get to the extraction point no matter where I am in the elevator. The same thing happens when I drop into the elevator from above after exiting the crawl space onto the top of the elevator.
I'v must have replayed the levl a dozen times thinking I missed something all to no avail.
Any further sugestions?

You have to use the elevator to go up to the roof.

YES...sprovoast04 is CORRECT

You have to enter the lift*, to be extracted. i found this out the hard way many times previous.


*lift is what the english say for elevator
