Wrath of the Lich King

Well, we don't have a topic for this upcoming WoW expansion, and I think we should.

Please share your info about Wrath of the Lich King here. DO NOT DISCUSS the expansion here. Just post information about the expansion. There is a separate topic for discussion. I'm saying this to keep other viewers from having to scroll through discussion to find information.


Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK) has in fact been announce, so it will guarenteed come out!

I know it says this on the site, but new features include:

Master the necromantic powers of the Death Knight - World of Warcraft's first Hero class.

Quest to level 80, gaining potent new abilities and talents along the way.

Learn the craft of spell augmentation with the new Inscription profession.

Brave the harsh new continent of Northrend, the icy domain of the Lich King.

I also found this site to be insteresting and useful.

One last thing to mention, the new continent, Northrend, will NOT have a level limit. That is to say that you can travel there at level 1

Who said any place (Except Instances) had a level limit. I have my level 25 Warrior Troll hearth bound to Shattrath city.

Back on topic though, Lich King = PWNT, when I get my Death Knight. Frostmourne = MINE!!!!

Looking forward to the destructible buildings. I play on private servers now though XD They don't cost money and alot of my time XD Also they are fun. Sept for the bosses they don't do anything special :*(

Do you know if you have to have the first expansion for this one to work? I'm thinking yes, but I don't know. It looks awesome enough to renew my subscription for WoW.

I do beleive you need BC for this...but I'm not completely sure. I mean...Northrend being inproportionate to its size (They said it is as big as Outland!?) it may have enough for us to level from 60 to 70 to even 80.

I'm a big fan of D2 and always wished for something closer to necromancer then warlock. Afflictions are nice and all but theres just something about summoning a army of death that excites me :p

My druid is level 70, just waiting for RotLK to come out and then... I wonder if their going to add werewolf form for druids....

Yes, the new expansion comes out in November 11th I think

Also i take it that the Death Knight will be available to all races with a certain circumstance to it(Having a Level 70 should be motivation)

I think it's only a level 50 that you have to have...

EDIT: April Fools Joke Bard Class, I already guessed it but might as well say yes Blizzard was messing with those of us who are more gullible then others.

Well my friends at school are like you see this new Bard class it looks cool and everything and they siad the molten core for console was Blizz's April fools joke but I told them it was fake anyways it wouldnt have made sense to have a class that just plays songs.

I thought it would've been funny. Guitar Hero on WoW would be teh pwn.

The bard class is more than that. They shoot lightning from their lutes, and can play mind-control songs. But, yeah, a cheap joke, nonetheless. Even though a lot of games have a bard class...

...Guitar Hero on WoW...? OH NOES! D= It's addicting enough as it is, without that... That's like, bumping it up from immunization shots, to pure heroin! D= I'd never get off there.

I have no idea how you would manage the controls it would be like a whole remapping of the programming of the game.

EDIT: Anyways my guildies posted this link on the website even though blizz asked them to close it, it can still be accessed from this link it isnt in violation of there rules its just something you can scan through cause most info got taken off.
