Magneto doesn't just control metal. He can create magnetic fields which is what he does to levitate enemies and himself.

Anyway, the second game is awesome. There are five main areas (six if you count the very beginning), which means five different hubs (with the mission computer and Professor X):Genosha, Savage Lands (Antarctica), Weapon X Facility (Canada), X-Mansion (in ruins), and Egypt.

Yeah I know he does the magnetic feild thing, but I heard that he levitates the metal on his body to make himself fly...

No actually, (I know I'm gonna repeat what I already wrote.) What he does is manipulate magnetic fields, such as reversing his personal gravity and anyone else to levitate them. I also read that he can manipulate the entire electromagnetic spectrum, such as deflecting visible light to make himself invisible.
