I wouldn't know much about tuning guitars, but violins a fair bit. That does seem odd that it keeps on coming out of tune though it could be the temperature changes. That affects my violin sometimes.

yeah thats true. except floating trems like mine have fine tuners on the bridge because of the locking nut

I have that kinda thing too. Basically just behind the bridge (closer towards me if holding as if playing) are some fine adjusters/tuners.

the cool thing about this guitar is the finish. it changes depending on what light is on it. when i saw it it was black, and there was a regular black S470 next to it, except this one had a label that said S470DXQM, and i asked the guy "whats the difference between these 2 guitars?" and he took it off the wall and as soon as it went under the light, it turned into blue patterns, hence the name "Transparent Lavender"

hey repner, i love the die to live song by steve vai but i can't figure the right volume and tone of my guitar plus bass,middle,treble and gain, how do i fix that so i can play the song by steve a bit clearer and better.

i think Vai uses a lot of middle. turn your mid all the way up and put your treble about half way. also hes using distortion, and maybe a little reverb for this song. the thing about Vai is his tone is always instantly recognisable
