Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Story: An Untold Tale

Going to give this another shot...

Okay, so this is a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rp, meaning your characters are Pokemon, in a world of Pokemon only. Seemed like the best idea since everyone could understand something like that easily, and Rps like this get thousands of pages. Really going to leave it as a loose main plot, meaning that you're free to do whatever you really want. Anything you do will probably build on the main plot. I'll give a rough story that Ziggoratt999 came up with

Short History
On the vast continent of Heiligdom, four guilds exist for the purpose of providing rescue teams with jobs. Just off the southern most tip of the island lies a small island, connected to the main land by a massive bridge. On this island lies the guild run by Guildmaster Latias. Teams have been disappearing lately. Mostly just weak, beginner teams. Most people aren't worried, but Guildmaster Latias is growing uneasy. She sends out her two most powerful teams to find out what's going on... only to have them disappear as well. At this point, everyone knows that something's up, and this is where the Rp starts.

Rules and Guidelines
There aren't really that many rules specific to this Rp.

1. You may use any format you wish to post, as long as its understandable.
   
2. Please do not use unnecessarily strong legendary Pokemon as your main character. It is fine to use legendaries as long as your goal isn't to cause trouble and have power over other characters.
   
3. You must fill out the Bio for your characters so that they can be stored in the first post of this thread. I will be on most of the time so I can add it almost as soon as you post it.

Most of these are self explanatory. The 'Other' spot is for any details that do not fit into the rest of the spots such as physical appearance or unusual ability. I will write my character's bio as an example.

Bio: A Blaziken that lives out in the forest near the southern guild. He's always tried to stay out of the way when someone from the guild comes around, but is quickly finding interest in the place.

Other: Wears a cloak to cover two majestic, black wings on his back.
Bio(Doesn't have to be really big, but helps describe your character.): An Umbreon that has lived on his own for most of his life, he seems to be ashamed of nearly every aspect about himself... Especially his strange ability to control shadows. He can fly, but only short distances.

*As the sun just now begins to fade into the distance, Derek sits there atop a large rock, staring at the guild situated at the center of the island not more than a mile off shore. The sounds of waves crashing to the rocks below him block out the noise of the town children playing behind him. As he sits there, he wonders what could possibly be going on in such a large place as the guild. Even from his spot, he can see in detail everything on the island. The only parts of the guild shown is one large building at the base of a mountain. The mountain has hundreds of large, cave like openings in it, letting the hollow inside of the mountain get light and air. The real parts of the guild are inside of the mountain, though he's never really seen what it looks like seeing as it's for members only*

*A cloaked figure is sitting on the beach, watching the waves as they rise up to greet him. He closes his eyes, letting out a low sigh.*
..... What am I doing here? The guild won't accept a freak like me... I should just go back the way I came...
*He lies back, groaning.*

*Loud screeching is heard in the skies above, drawing Derek's attention upwards. He looks as a Skarmory flies away from the guild, towards the mainland. Its steel feathers shining brightly in the almost dead sunlight. With a smile, he hops up and watches it go off to do a rescue job during the night*
Derek-" Wish I could be part of that. Things have gotten so dull these days... could be a fun change."

*Shade's ears perk up, and he stares at the Skarmory, envy in his eyes.*
"... I wish....."
*He sighs and gets up, making his way into the woods.*
[i]... Maybe I could try... Just for awhile, so I could know what it's like...

*After a day of sitting in the shade of the forest, Derek finally gets up and starts flipping through letters, seeing if he got accepted into the guild. It takes him a few minutes, but he finally gets to the letter from the guild, addressed to him. With a smile on his face, he quickly rips it open and begins reading it. The smile once on his face begins to fade as he finds that he wasn't accepted under the terms of them having far too many teams already. Nothing but a frown on his face now, he throws the letter off to the side, letting it blow away in the wind, and leans against a tree. He stares at the lights on the guild's island as the moonlight shines down upon him*

*The wind carries it through the woods, finally hitting Shade in the face.*
"What the..?"
*He pulls it off, groaning, then slowly reads the note over.*
"Hmm... I wonder who this Derek guy is..."
*He shrugs and continues walking, sighing.*

*Derek walks all the way to town to buy some food from a store, still grumbling in disappointment from the letter. As he stands there at a small fruit shack, he listens to the people beside him argue over money.*
Derek-" Bunch of greedy people... can't believe I didn't get in there again. This must be the fifth time I've been denied."

*Shade walks into town, reading over Derek's letter again and again.*
"Why wouldn't they want more help...?"
*He continues walking, not watching where he's going. Pretty soon, he bumps into Derek, dropping the letter.*
"Oh, sorry..."
*He reaches down to pick up the letter.*

*Feeling the bump, Derek gives a quick glance down at Shade before looking back up*
Derek-" It's fine, just watch where you're going next time...."
*The argument over money beside him begins to grow louder, drawing the attention of most people around them. When the owner of the stand looks at the arguing pair, Derek takes the opportunity to slip a few pieces of fruit into his bag before walking away, only paying for one fruit*

*Shade starts walking after Derek, not wanting to be involved in the conflict that is sure to escalate. He quickly folds the letter up, slipping it into his right-cloak-pocket.*
... Maybe I should pay a visit to this "guild"...
*He looks up at the hill in the middle of the island, thinking aloud.*
"Maybe they'll have some answers..."

*Derek turns back, just now noticing that he's being followed. He doesn't say anything for a few moments as he continues to walk towards the forest bordering the coast line*
Derek-" Who will have the answers to what?"

*Shade jumps a little, not realizing that he actually spoke.*
"Oh, um... I was just thinking about checking that guild place out... I've had some questions for awhile that need answering, and I thought that maybe they could help..."
*He pulls his hood off, revealing a face that has evidently seen many battles. He has one long scar on his left cheek, and another on his chin. However, neither of these are very noticeable compared to one feature: His eyes. Eyes that would belong to the most battle-hardened war veteran... Eyes that have seen things that no man could ever forget...*

Derek-" Ah, I see... you need help with anything? I've actually spent far too long in the woods... I need out more. I could come with you, if you want... I actually have a few questions of my own for the guildmaster."
*He takes a fruit out of his bag and offers it to Shade*

*Shade gratefully accepts it, ravenously biting into it.*
"Mmm... Sure, if you want to. My name's Shade."
*He holds out his paw for a handshake, smiling a bit.*

Derek-" Derek... but I'd rather that name stay between us. I don't like others knowing who I am unless its necessary."
*He slowly reaches out and shakes Shade's paw, having a blank expression on his face. The wind blows through the forest, making a large leaf hit him in the face and break him away from the handshake. He peels it off and groans loudly at the leaf*
Derek-" I hate the forest, so dirty and loud."

*Shade laughs for a moment, then frowns as realization hits him.*
"Wait a minute... You're Derek?"
*He pulls the note out of his pocket.*
"So this is yours?"

*Once he sees the letter, he takes it into his hands and glances over it. Within a few seconds, he holds it up and burns the letter in between his fingers*
Derek-" That was mine, but it's of no use to me now. It's just another piece of trash..."
