For the last two years, we've had one hell of a good time on the newsletter staff. That's when Vasco was hosting and Filip was interviewing, being extremely late as usual. Well, now that I think about it, the newsletter was probably late because of his laziness. Lukie was doing his lovely job, and people were enjoying the newsletter. For two years, people have come and gone from the newsletter. Lukie left his position, Vee stopped doing his job, and Filip was fired due to, well being extremely late :P, but Vasco stayed, and kept the newsletter going. He hired people to replace others, and the newsletter continued to live on. Now, after two wonderful years, Vasco has decided to let someone else take the reigns of the newsletter, and left it open for anybody. With that, Vasco, thank you for some awesome times with the newsletter. This newsletter is dedicated to you, although there is nothing in it and will probably not be the best :P You're more than willing to host anytime if you're in the mood.
Now a new era starts, with me :D Most of you were like "Shawn hosting? I think so." So I'll be taking over. Does that mean I have to make some speech or something? I just did a long one about Vasco and his history D: Besides the point, I hope the newsletter stays as strong as ever. With that, let's get the articles going.

Shawn's Interview
So this month, after so much begging the other night, and could not get a hold of the person I actually I wanted to interview, I interviewed someone who has been with the site for quite a while now. He is one huge wrestling fan, one hyper kid, and well, has a big of an ego as Derek and Filip put together -_- Besides the point. Enjoy this interview with the lovely ShadowStriker64!
Are you the Shadowstriker64 of the SuperbCheats, the one who loves wrestling WAY too much, and the one named Sh...Sean?
What made you come to SC?
(Int. Note: I don't know who has more of an ego, him, Derek, or most of the S-Mod team -_-)
What makes you come back to SC daily?
Why have you left and come back from SC?
Alright, time for some sexy time with myself<3 Out of all the people on the site, who would you want to succeed Rich as Webmaster? Whoever is not chosen, to be forced to listen to Justin Bieber sing, and if you people like him, then you'll be waterboarded to my liking.
Sweet. While I listen to my music, you can all love Baby Best moment on SC?
What do you outside of SC?
If you had to change one thing on the site, what would it be?
Anybody from the site you would like to meet in real life?
Alright, time for some personal questions, these are opinional, so do tell if you don't want to tell So what's your name?
Where do you live?
Any regrets in life?
Sean, have you found love lately, or are you ridin' solo?
I've got nothing else ;__;, so with that, this shall be the end But before we go, do you have anything you would like to say, whether it's totally random or not?
That shall be the end of this interview. If you have any recommendations for who you want to be interviewed, please, tell me, e-mail me, add my MSN, whatever.
For all of you OCD freaks, all grammar mistakes by the interview-e are not my responsibility or the editor's responsibility to edit, so you have to deal with their horrible typing.

Movie Review: Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen
Hey guys I??m doing this to help complete the newsletter and get qwert banned. Now it??s on Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen the sequel to the 2007 movie Transformers. Now stay with me guys, this is my first movie review in a while since English last year for Never Back Down. Great Movie btw but back to the point, Let us begin this review. So I figure I??ll start on the characters first in case you??ve never watched this movie or even heard of Transformers (if you haven??t I will have to hunt you down). First up are the humans. The main characters are Shia LaBeouf as Samuel Witwicky, the man whose grandfather discovered Megatron in the first movie and Sam first discovered the transformers in the first movie. Megan Fox plays Mikaela Banes, Sam??s love interest and is basically there to help Sam and the scene at the end where her and Sam are running towards the camera in slow motion ^_^. Ramon Rodriguez plays Leo Spitz who is new in this movie and runs a website about the battle in Mission City in the last movie about what really happened and how the government covered it up. Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson return as USA Major William Lennox and USAF Master Sergeant Robert Epps respectively. They run the new Autobot and human alliance attack force NEST (Networked Elements: Supporters and Transformers) defending the planet against random Decepticon attacks. John Turtarro returns as Seymour Simmons former Sector Seven agent which was shut down by Sam in the original movie. His website is in competition with Leo??s and at first refuses to help Sam but helps after a short discussion. There is too many Transformers to list so I??ll list the main ones. First up is the Autobots. These guys for some people??s sake who have never seen Transformers are the good guys. Transformers are basically giant robot who can transform into vehicles. So straight up I have to mention Optimus Prime. He is a legend in the transformer business. He is the leader of the Autobots and the last Prime which is kinda a big deal in this movie. He transforms into a truck?YEAA!! Next is Bumblebee who is Sam??s guardian. He was able to speak properly at the end of the last movie when his legs got blown off as before he used the radio but he seems to have gone back to the radio voice. Transforms into a 5th gen pokemon Chevrolet Camaro. Jetfire is next as he is a old transformer who was a Decepticon but turned into an Autobot. He transforms into a Blackbird. Wheelie is the same as Jetfire except really small and is captured by Mikaela and transforms into a RC truck. Last is the twins Mudflap and Skids. They both transformed into a single ice cream truck before they turned into green Chevrolet Beat and a Red Chevrolet Trax. These guys are here for comedy more than anything. Decepticons are the bad guys here. There are only 3 really important guys though. Starscream the underling of both Megatron and The Fallen. He??s a coward and is usually beaten up by Megatron. He transforms into a F-22 Raptor. Next is Megatron. He is usually the main antagonist in any transformer series but is under the Fallen in this movie. Transforms into a Cybertronian Winged tank. Last is the Fallen, the original decpticon. He is the reason for the war that destroyed Cybertron, the transformers home plant and wants to destroy earth. Was one of the original twelve primes before he turned evil. Doesn??t Transform into anything.
WARNING:MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS (Host's Note: And this is why he wrote this, forgetting a complete BBcode called spoiler tags.) (ED: It is basically the entire movie??s plot written down. I don??t know why that would be in a review, but whatever.) Spoiler:
Now for the good old plot. The movie begins with Sam finding a piece of the all spark (which was destroyed in the last movie. It can make a transformer out of anything electrical.) And transforming basically everything in his kitchen into a transformer. Bumblebee destroys them and that??s when everyone is basically told Sam is going to college and leave Bumblebee and Mikaela behind. At College Sam??s mum gets high and Sam meets Leo. Alice makes advances on him ;) and is caught in bed with Sam by Mikaela. Alice turns out to be a Decepticon and attacks Leo, Sam and Mikaela. They eventually ram Alice into a pole but are captured by Megatron who was revived by the Decepticons when they stole his body and used another all spark shard to revive him. Megatron finds out he needs the Matrix of Leadership to use the Sun Harvester which will destroy the sun but give the transformers the energon needed to keep the transformers race alive. Optimus Prime then saves Sam and takes him to a forest where Optimus is surrounded by Megatron and several unnamed Transformers. Optimus actually defeats them all but while looking for Sam; Megatron comes from behind and stabs Optimus killing him. I shed a tear here at this point. Optimus is sent back to base and NEST is deactivated by Theodore Galloway an advisor from the president. Megatron launches a full scale assault on Earth and demands Sam be delivered to them otherwise they will destroy earth. Meanwhile Sam and the others find Jetfire to understand the ancient cybertronian language Sam has been seeing since he touched the all spark. Jetfire leads them to Egypt where they contact Major Lennox to bring Optimus??s Body to the Daggers tip, the border of Egypt and Jordan. They travel around till they find the Matrix which falls apart in Sam??s hands. Sam puts the matrix dust in his sock and runs outside where the troops have landed. They are far away from the troops and when they get near a Decepticon reveals he has captured Sam??s parents. Bumblebee rescues them and takes Sam??s parents to a safe location. Sam and Mikaela get there and are near a Decepticon with Major Lennox and Master Sergeant Epps. Leo and Simmons distract Starscream and see Devastator being formed, made up of roughly 7 transformers and huge Devastator starts uncovering the Sun Harvester inside a Pyramid, before being destroyed by a Rail Gun from a nearby Navy Ship. Jetfire saves Sam and them and they run for cover. Sam veers off and runs for Optimus when Megatron appears and blasts him, killing Sam. Sam then dreams of the Dynasty of Primes (the original 12) and they tell him the Matrix isn??t found but earned. He awakens with the Matrix becoming whole and revives Optimus Prime. The Fallen then attacks and steals the Matrix, leaving prime injured. Prime then merges his and Jetfire??s Spark and takes Jetfire??s Parts. He then flies up and destroys the Sun Harvester. Optimus then kills the Fallen and sends Megatron and Starscream running. At the end of the movie Optimus sends a message for other Autobots to join them and face the future together with the Humans.
click to reveal
Longer than Expected so I??ll keep it short it. It??s a great movie but there is too much comedy to be taken seriously. Transformers 1 is better. 3.8/5 though definitely worth the time to watch.

Video Game Review: Fallout: New Vegas (Xbox 360)
Introduction:
Well, it??s finally here. Loony??s most anticipated game of 2010. In 2008 it was Fable 2, in 2009 it was Assassin??s Creed 2, and now we??re greeted by a new Fallout game to take up this role. But the question is, does this game live up to the hype, or should we put a bullet in its head?
Graphics:
Looking at the graphics of Fallout: New Vegas, you??ll notice a striking similarity to Fallout 3, mainly because it??s built on the same engine. You??ll notice that many guns and armor look identical to how they looked in Fallout 3, but that??s not really bad all thing considered. Most of the new stuff does look good, but you??ll occasionally get some goofy looking clothing or weapons, most notably, the armor for Ceasar??s Legion (It??s not a dress, it??s a kilt). What it does do original though, it does do well for the most part. There are old saloons, schools for Elvis impersonators, and a whole well modeled wasteland. Being that this wasteland, unlike the Capitol one, is supposed to be more of a desert, there is a lot more flat land and often there isn??t much to see. I mean, don??t get me wrong, there are over 100 locations in the game, but often you will wander without seeing many of them, and the flat land leads to a lot of pop-in textures in the distance, which can get annoying. The character models have all new animations, which look both better and worse than their Fallout 3 counterparts. For one, the jumping does look a whole lot better, but some of the running animations look odd, not to mention the countless glitches which I will address later. The new skins on old classics, such as super mutants, are a welcomed addition. We even get to see a 3D Marcus, an old friend if you were a player of Fallout 2. Faces have a bit of a distinct look to them from Fallout 3. Overall, the new graphics in this game are welcomed. It??s a bit of a contrast to Fallout 3, given the desert environment, and sets aside all the gray stone buildings and rocky outcrops for a more brown and dusty desert feel, which is an interesting change.
Sound:
In true Fallout fashion, the voice work is superb. Every role has a weight to it and make you feel like they??re living beings. As always, the cast is rounded out by Ron Perlman as the narrator, who continues to prove why his voice is a staple for the series with the quote ??War. War never changes?. The ones who do a particularly good job are your companions, Arcade, Cass, Veronica, Lily, Raul, and Boone. Each of these roles has their own personality, and their voice and tone really carry the personality that they??re supposed to have, with standouts being Cass and Arcade. The soundtrack, again in Fallout fashion, includes old classics like Frank Sinatra??s ??Blue Moon?, or ??Ain??t that a Kick in the Head?. The soundtrack is very appropriate to the time period the game is trying to portray, and you??ll find yourself cranking up the radio for your treks through the wastes. Not all are exactly winners, and you??ll find yourself hoping certain songs don??t come on, but for the most part, the songs are chosen quite well and will make exploring the wastes that much more enjoyable. There are lots of new guns in this game, and, appropriately, tons of new gun sounds. No two guns sound alike, from shotguns to SMGs to revolvers, each gun has its own unique sound, and shows all the time and effort this team put into making each of these guns unique, and it really makes me happy that this team is this dedicated, giving me a lot of hope for the future. (Host's Note: Any fans of Wayne Newton out there? He does the radio show in the game. A little fun fact.)
Plot:
This game literally starts with a bang by shooting you in the head. Not sure if this would be considered more of a shocker than Fallout 3??s opening where you??re literally born as the game begins. Basically, you??re a courier for the Mojave Express, a type of message and package delivery service operating out of the Mojave Wastes, which exists on the border of Nevada and California. On a job to deliver a platinum casino chip to the Las Vegas Strip (Now dubbed New Vegas), you??re captured, the chip is stolen, and you??re shot in the head and left for dead in a shallow grave. You wake up days later having been nursed to health by the local town??s doctor, having been saved by an odd robot named Victor working for someone named Mr. House. From here, you travel across the Mojave Wastes searching for the man who shot you in the head, learning the secret of the Platinum Chip. Through this ordeal, you??ll also meet the head figures: The New California Republic, Caesar??s Legion, and House, the leader of New Vegas. The story isn??t as strong as it was in Fallout: New Vegas, although it has a lot of branches. At the end, you can end up siding with Caesar??s Legion, the NCR, Mr. House, or even take matters into your own hands and enlist the help of a robot named Yes Man to take on the final mission alone. It??s true that there really isn??t anything as Fallout 3??s quest to find your lost father here, but it??s engaging enough to get you to the end of the game, and you??ll find yourself entertained with the path the game takes, and I suppose that??s the most important part.
Performance:
This hasn??t been a category in any of the other reviews, but there??s something that we have to talk about that has been a problem with both of the most recent Fallout games and in general with most of the games running Bethesda??s engine. Glitches. Yes, you all saw it coming, this game is full to the gills with glitches. We??ve got the game freezing, character model glitches, first person view glitches, quest breaking glitches, doors that should be open randomly locking, enemies not taking damage, characters stuck in the ground, corrupted save files, and many, many more glitches. I personally had the game freeze about three times in the game??s final quest, and several other times while playing. At first, it doesn??t bother you too much, but you will find that after a while, these glitches will wear on your nerves, especially when they prevent you from making progress in the game. Something else that I should mention here is the load time. While at first it won??t be too bad, I swear that the longer you play without stopping, the longer the load times become. Eventually, they will end up being very annoying. It??s a shame, because this really is the biggest issue with the game. Patches are coming out, but for those of us without LIVE, it??ll still be a problem. However, in the long run, these glitches won??t be a deal breaker, and you will be able to live with them for the most part.
Controls:
To keep this short and sweet, the controls are basically the same as Fallout 3 and remain mostly functional. There are a few changes in controls, and a few issues, however. For one, most guns now have true iron sights that can be activated by holding the left trigger (although guns like the Laser Pistol and Minigun don??t have sights and aim like they do in Fallout 3). It??s a great feature that I wanted to see, but there is a problem. Every once in a while, the shooting controls will lock up. You won??t be able to shoot, look down the sights, or even reload. It only lasts for about five seconds at a time, but it happens frequently enough to constantly remind you that it??s a problem. The other things that I should mention are the workbenches. This seems like an odd place to mention them, but I??ll get to that. There are three types of workbenches in the game, regular old Workbenches where you make things like explosives, repair kits, and other cool things, Campfires, where you can make poisons, food and water, and reloading benches, where you can make ammo. Now, what??s the problem here? The controls are kind of screwy. You enter the bench with A, and now A does nothing. To select something you want to make, you need to hit X, and then hit A to confirm. It is very confusing, and even today I still get snagged on it. One other minor complain is with the third-person camera. In this game, the camera works mostly like it did in Fallout 3, but now the limit to how far you can pull the camera out is really short for some reason. I suppose this is to keep the game immersive, but I sort of wish I had the option to pull the camera out further. Other than those three hiccups, the game has fantastic controls overall.
Gameplay:
The gameplay is incredibly similar to Fallout 3, but now in a new place with a few new bells and whistles. As I mentioned before, largely the only change to shooting stuff is the addition of iron sights, which is a really great addition that makes aiming a lot easier and much more fun. There is another change, however. With this new feature, some of your real-time shots will be slowed down and shown at a cinematic view as though you were using VATS. This is fun for the first five minutes or so, and then because irritating. Luckily, this, like true iron sights, can be turned off in the menu, which, trust me, you??ll be doing really quick. Another big addition is the guns. In addition to the cast of guns from Fallout 3, there have been a ton of additions. 9mm pistol. 9mm SMG. Assault Carbine. Cowboy Repeater. Grenade Launcher. Grenade Machine Gun. Bladed Gauntlet. Boxing Gloves. Boxing Tape. Varmint Rifle. .44 Magnum (Without a scope!). And that??s just to name a few. The game has been fully flushed out with new guns, giving you a whole new perspective on combat. The skills have also been simplified, with Small Guns and Big Guns being mixed together into Guns. As you might imagine, that??s the most popular category. I??ve also heard that the other offensive categories (Unarmed, Melee Weapons, Energy Weapons, and Explosives) have a lot more weapons, but are severely underpowered compared to Guns. This is sort of a problem since some achievements require the player to get a lot of damage with all the main combat methods. Still, there??s plenty of variety to your kills. Another big aspect added to the guns are weapon mods. These are specializations you can add to the guns to make them more effective, like a choke to reduce spread, a silencer, a scope, or extended magazines. It??s fun, but it feels like there aren??t as many weapon mods as there could be, and while a few are very creative, it seems like they could have put more thought into some of the mods and made a lot more of them, or even just repeated a few of the more generic ones on more guns. For example, for some reason, you can??t get a silencer for your 9mm pistol. Still, these mods are a lot of fun and add even more depth to your weapons. Skills and SPECIAL have been modded to make the game much more balanced. With skills, in addition to the Big Guns and Small Guns merging, the Survival skill has been added, which will be useful in a Hardcore Mode, which I will discuss a bit later. Barter and Speech, which were relatively useless in Fallout 3, are now essential, as many speech challenges require a certain level in the skill to obtain it rather than just giving you a percentage as in Fallout 3, and Barter now has a lot of speech challenges as well. SPECIAL has received changes as well. Charisma, which was useless previously, now determines how much bonus armor and damage dealt your companions get. Also, the amount of skill points you get, the number of skill books and the amount of skill points you get for leveling up have decreased, and you now only get a perk every other level. This sounds annoying, but it actually makes the game much more balanced than you??d think, and controls how quickly your character powers up. Also, since the level cap starts at 30, you have a lot more wiggle room than you originally had in Fallout 3. The world in Fallout New Vegas is full of new and interesting locations, although compared to Fallout 3, a lot of areas have much less weight than they did in Fallout 3. Still, there are a lot of interesting locations such as Vault 11, Nipton, and, of course, The Strip. Like in Fallout 3, there are a lot of interesting quests, but there are definitely more quests in New Vegas. This can lead to problems, however, as a lot of the quests are unmarked, and can be hard to trigger the part that continues the quest, which can be annoying at times. Still, the quests are far more numerous and spread out than in Fallout 3, which is a big improvement. There are a lot more little details I can explain, but only one more thing really matters about this game: Hardcore Mode. This is a unique mode in which you need to micromanage a lot more on your character. Stimpacks now heal over time and can??t heal crippled limbs (Only Doctor??s or Doctor Bags can do that), ammo has weight, you need to eat, drink, and sleep or suffer penalties, or even die. It??s a really good way to add a unique part to a game while keeping the game as immersive as possible. I haven??t had a lot of time to play around with it since the only time I tried it the level up system gliched, but as is, it??s a very cool looking way to make the game that much more immersive.
Bottom Line:
I could go on for hours talking about all the things you can do in Fallout: New Vegas. There are unique weapons to find, Easter eggs to see, quests to do, and so many things that it would make your head spin. This, like Fallout 3, is a superb value for your money with a monstrous replay value. If you have any sense at all, you will buy this game, no matter what. I suppose the big question is, is it better than Fallout 3? Yes and no. Fallout 3 had a special feel and each location had a deep story, and while that is present here, it??s definitely more subdued. Fallout 3 had a special kind of heart put into it that made it unique, and that itself can never be topped. It also had less glitches, but New Vegas improved on a lot of levels. Regardless of which is better, this is still a superb game that any fan of RPGs should run out and buy right now.
Final Score: 5/5

Ha, late by a day, no banz. Now I'm going to mess with Shawn. I'm sure he'll notice it.
Nice way to pull things together last second. At the same time it was sort of put on its head though. No MOTM, forgotten articles, interview selection not that good, a movie review for something EVERYONE and their third cousin twice removed has seen. Dx
Josh, freshen up your article. The jokes in there are no longer funny, soz.
Sexy review of Vegas loony, awesome game.
/critique
Hard to pick things up where they left off with a different crew. I'm sure you guys will do better next month. What more, expect a special article from me birdo.
Hmm. Movie review was pretty hard to read. Nice big block of text punching out my eye balls SS64
I've probably got this all wrong, but I've read it like 4 times & I can't make much sense of it, but it seems more like an overview of the movie, rather than a review...
I might put my head towards something & write a movie review for the next one if you guys want. No guarantees though, this months going to be waay to hectic for me to sit down & watch a movie & then actually think about it later haha.
& why the hell have there been no MoTMs lately?

"Forever in this heart of mine, an everlasting bond. From now until the end of time, are memories so fond."
Haha, indeed. I also blame the Editor on that part, tshk. Not a bad Newsletter, though. It might be because I haven't on this side for so long, but I actually had a great time reading it. The way the Interview is formatted makes it really easy to read, good job on that part.
Also, thanks for the dedication and special mention on the posts, guys.
Oh, that would be my "fault". I selected every MOTM for the past two years, but not anymore. You guys should make the decision together, if you can.
Actually, I owe you one, because when I subbed for Vas, I made you MotM.
Oh, and I didn't do it because well, the last time I did it, nobody really approved. I prefer for other people to choose, with the NL staff's approval.
I have a couple problems. 1. Why am I not memtioned anywhere? 2. Why are my achievements not located anywhere. 3. Why is Joshy 2 trying to get my best friend qwerty banned.
Nice article. Good quality and had alot of good information, like making me put Fallout New Vegas on list. Telling me about a movie, that I haven't seen. And of course the birthdays. Very useful if I wish to be nice and send people gifts.
