I'm just needing some time to voice something. Agree or disagree, a trip down our mall pretty much makes me wanna shoot myself in the foot. I can't believe the ridiculous garbage that is marketed to teen girls, and worse, the fact the product is being bought.
I don't wanna see down your shirt. I don't wanna see part of your bum hanging out under your shorts. I don't wanna see what colour undergarments you're wearing through your tattered, transparent shirt.
I honestly just can't stand the clothes they market nowadays :/. I personally dislike skinny jeans. On both sexes. But the leggings jeans jegging things just look like someone vacuum sealed your pants to your legs. And string bikinis make you look like you just wanna flaunt your body.
Call me what you like; I personally miss the days girls were beautiful because they were real and elegant, instead of nowaday's pop culture saying its how curvy they are or how they dress or dye their hair. It seems fake to me. Honestly, I respect modesty. It just makes women seem so much more like they want people to know who they are, not what they look like.
Sorry to venting. It royally pisseth me offeth. :/ State your thoughts I guess.
If a girl chooses to wear those things, it's her choice. You chose to buy & wear your clothes, she chose to buy & wear hers. End of story.
Don't like it, avoid those stores, don't buy your children in the future clothes you disdain, and carry on living life as normal. To become bent out of shape over how someone chooses to shop, or dye their hair seems foolish to me.
NOW; on the other hand if we were to talk about pre-teen & younger girls wearing mini-skirts, fishnet stockings and the like, you would have my agreement. But for me, from the age of 15/16, a girl can choose to wear whatever kind of outfits she wants, so long as it fits in with the social setting.
If you're going to school - you don't wear tiny as hell "booty" shorts & a tight as crap tank-top and no bra. That's the kind of thing I know a lot of females generally wear to bed xD

"Forever in this heart of mine, an everlasting bond. From now until the end of time, are memories so fond."
Oh, I don't mind women wearing that kind of clothing. Extra eye candy, and the sort who give you the impression that you can probably get to sleep with them quite easily if you play your cards right.
What's wrong with that?
Although, if it's teenagers, I kinda agree with you. 20+ only, please!
Although I agree with you if the girl is extremely young. When you get older you should be allowed to wear whatever the hell you want. Just don't look trashy, and have some respect for yourself.
Same here. A much too conservative POV for me Taylor.
Speaking on a professional level here, as a model, there's nothing wrong with high schoolers+ dressing however the hell they want. It depicts their personality in a lot of ways. As long as its socially (legally) acceptable, its ok.
Besides, I absolutely refuse to believe ANY guy doesn't enjoy eye candy. Just like I refuse to believe no women doesn't. Its genetically programmed.
THAT is what I'm talking about hahaha. Eh even if they're cute, there's a line where it's just bad taste.
And my first post was basically stating dissatisfaction with how stores are pushing things that make girls look more and more like they have a side job (or a corner job, harhar).
