Not a chance in hell we compete with IGN; that network's just too huge. Cheatcc is more of our type of competition, whereas IGN is really a different kind of site entirely than what we've got.
I remember it being brought up several times, if not an app a mobile version of the site. I forget what Rich (the owner) had to say about it. I'll try and dig up one of the old threads.
Forums are a somewhat dated feature, both due to social media and a general narrowing and division of the video games market.
Most of us were much younger when we started posting here. Our age group, well...aged over time. We all got lives, buggered off and that's that. Seems more active now than it was a year ago, though.
Having a bunch of really poor staff choices in the last few years didn't help, though.

I remember Teams and SC when it was incredibly active, five years ago. I've only made a recent return under this new ID, but I'm pleased the site is still alive.
Yes it is less active, but it has a more select audience and that's why I've returned.
SuperCheats, unlike IGN has a lot less Kids screaming "Call of Duty FTW".
I have faith SuperCheats will pick up in activity come Next Gen. Granted so will all other sites, but that boost may just be what we need here.
Haha not many people will remember that, that was before there was even a separate section to the teams and clans. I wish I could remember the names of the teams I was desperate to join when I was new here. Was there a team Zapdos run by someone whose real name was Holly?? That's the best my memory can do.
