This is a what if scenario designed to help you prepare in the event of a kangaroo apocalypse.

Our worst fears have been realized.

You look out your bedroom window one fateful afternoon to see hordes of kangaroos attacking your neighbors. Your immediate thought is What the ****!?!? No matter how many of the kangaroos go down more just keep coming. The kangaroos outnumber the humans by the billions. There's just so many of them...

What do you do?

Run?
Hide?
Fight?
Surrender?
Make a human sacrifice?

Post your answer and I will hypothesize on it's outcome.

If this happened with realistic numbers, there are 50-60 million Kangaroos in Australia and only about 23-24 million people.

We also don't own 3 firearms per household like Americans so overseas assistance from our allies would be required.

No I'm saying in this fictitious scenario the kangaroos outnumber the 7 billion people on Earth. This plague of kangaroos would be worldwide.

Also Matt I'm not meaning this to be against Australia. I was originally thinking bears but that would be way too one sided.

Kangaroos would be as dangerous as bears.

http://www.outback-australia-travel-secrets.com/kangaroo-facts.html

The Red Kangaroo is the largest living marsupial and can grow to two metres (!). It weighs up to 90 kg (200 pounds).
Top speed: over 60 km/h (close to 40 mph). A Red Kangaroo can leap eight metres far (25 feet) and three metres (10 feet) high!
(If it wants to. At normal hopping speed they would cover more like 1.5 - 2 metres or 5 - 6 feet in a leap, at a speed of about 25 km/h or 15 mph.)

Male kangaroos "box", either in play, when asserting their dominance or in serious competition over females. The punching of the front legs is pretty harmless, but the powerful hind legs with their long sharp toenails are a dangerous weapon. Kangaroos can disembowel opponents, be it other kangaroos or predators like dogs.

Essentially a Kangaroos kick can kill you and you can't outrun one.

True but the average civilian stands a chance against a kangaroo. Not a bear.

If you hide in your house a kangaroo won't get you. A bear will tear down the door.

Will here I'm safe because the only bears we have are in zoos or sanctuaries. In our city (which isn't close to my area) there would be maybe 20 bears. And the chance of them getting anywhere & causing people to 'surrender' is 0. I think America are the ones that are screwed.

Probably surrender.
Better die by the attacks of kangaroos than by humans *cheesy line is cheesy*
But seriously, as my mate Matt says, YOLO, I think I will let the kangaroos have me and sacrifice me to their kangaroo God. Or eat. Kill. Whatever they do.

They are too many in number for me to fight with. *whispers* yolo

I am really hoping that this makes sense :D
