I had a hard time with some of them but in the end I did get them thought took just about all my ultra balls to do it im still waiting to get cresent iland to apear to also what about darkrai can we get it to or is it just a event type of thing

Yea, I just caught the Regi's w/Dusk Balls, so I think the game has made it easier. Fine w/me tho. ;)

About Darkrai, you can't get it in OR/AS plus other Legendary(event)Pokemon(Mew, Shaymin, ect) because you can in X/Y and those games can interact with each other.


And thinking about your question Hoshe, I remembered I had the Eon Flute, and IT'S AWESOME! I love it. One of my favorite things in the game. ^_^

iv been to that area a bunch of times however iv never found any secret bases at all in it I think id have to have ur friend code to beable to find it but at the monment im not able to even get my friebd code right now because of when I got my 3 ds I dident have the internet part set up for it I put it off but I can use wifi witch is ok but cant really do much iv had 2 players ask to trade but it failed

Hmm, you know where the internet set-up in the 3DS is right? You don't even have to go into a game. If you have a wifi connection in your house, just press the wrench icon in the system tray on the home screen, go to connection settings, and choose which number to set the connection to.

I'm not sure if you have to have a friend code to see that person's base or not, because sometimes the tree on route 119 will be occupied and sometimes it won't.

You get it from Steven after ending the world disaster(i.e. catching/defeating Groudon/Kyogre)

Happy New Year! Better late than never, right? So how's your journey through Hoenn going? I renewed my Pokebank 'subscription' and transfered over 80% of my Pokemon from Pokemon Y. I haven't beat the E4 for the 2nd time yet, I've been focused on filling the rest of my 'dex and finding new Mirage places. Who's was/is on your team through your game? I chose Treeko, nicknamed Tryle(I usually nickname all my starters) which is now a Sceptile kept the shiny Beldum, now Metagross, Skitty, and kept it a Skitty, because it is so freaking cute, and it can learn awesome moves like Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, and Ice Beam. I wish I would've been feeding it Zinc all this time. It's lv. 84 but is lacking in defence. Also have a Camrupt, but have switched it for my shiny Charizard since I imported, Tentacruel, and Lugia(I switch it out often because I just use the Eon Flute for Fly) but Lugia is one of my favorite Pokemon. And I chose Cyndaquill as my starter after I beat the E4 the first time.

I FINALLY found Crescent Isle in my Mirage places while flying last night. I've been soft resetting since then with no luck. Oh good Arceus, please let me get a shiny Cresselia soon!
It'll be the first shiny legendary that I've found on my own.


This is my shiny story, and it has been a long one, in time, not story. I only caught my first shiny(on my own) back in my Pokemon Y version. It was a Graveler in a horde in Victory Road cave. I did, however, find a shiny Metapod a few years ago when I was replaying either my Silver or Crystal version. It was early in the game and I didn't have any Pokeballs. So there, there's my sob story.... It's so sad...

I'm learning how to play the alpha sapphire game, and I'm stuck on the level where you need rock smash to break boulders to continue. but I don't know how to get through without the rock smash. do I have to start over?

You don't have to start over, you get it from Wally after you beat him in Mauville City.

Update to my shiny Cresselia hunt, it's a no-go... I've been soft resetting since Thursday evening(I plug my charger in and close the 3DS to sleep to not break the SR chain, if there is such a thing, I just wanna be extra sure.) I was willing to go for a few more days, but then I looked up some more info about shiny Pokemon in OR/AS. The game makers boosted the rate of finding a shiny back up to the normal rate instead of the reduced rate in Pokemon X/Y, making it harder. :P Cool thing is that I caught Cresselia w/o much trouble in a Ultra Ball and then found the Fabled Cave right after leaving the island and caught Zekrom. So, not the win I wanted, but I'll take it.

Do you know how to get to box 1 where the Pokemon go after you catch them?

Yea, you go to any Pokemon Center and acess the computer and go into somebody's/Lanette's PC(you meet Lanette later and her name takes the place of 'somebody's pc' and from there you can withdraw, deposite, or organize your Pokemon/Boxes(you can also withdraw/deposit them from here too, which makes the first two options kinda useless, but, whatev.

I caught a shiny Feebas about an hour ago! I was chain fishing for it all morning.(*chain fishing) Yesterday I saw a tip on FaceBook about how in OR/AS if you fish on route 119, near the waterfall, under the bridge(in the shadow of the bridge) between 6:00am and 8:00 pm, catching a Feebas is 100%. (I was like, O_O Why did I not know this before!)


*Chain fishing is fishing in one spot over and over, increasing the chances of making a shiny appear. Do not move or you will break the chain. And when you fish, you have to hook a Pokemon everytime. If you miss one or nothing bites, that will also break the chain. To make sure you get a Pokemon every time, you should have a Pokemon with the Suction Cups ability in your party. It doesn't have to be the first one, and can even be K.O. and the ability still works. This ensures that you'll get a hit each time you fish. Octillery, Inkjay, and Malamar can have 2 different abilities, one being Suction Cups. Lileep and Cradily only have the Suction Cups ability.

Finally found a Shaymin, so now I have 594 Pokemon! Shiny Charm, here I come!

Finally got the Event Samurott. On your ORAS game, choose Mystery Gift before you go into the game and choose the option 'Get with code' and the code is Pokemon503.

I have no clue. :| I saw someone on the PSS screen saying they had Hoopa eggs, so I thought why not, and I traded. Hatched a Rotom. -_- So, idk. I haven't seen anyone with one.

On another note, I hatched my very first shiny Pokemon today. Not even trying, just filling my 'Dex, and all of a sudden, BAM!, there it is. If you're still w/o a shiny of your own(you hatched/caught on your own) don't worry, it'll come. I've waited 15 years for mine.

Not much going on in Alpha Sapphire. Still filling my 'Dex. I've got a little more than 700 recorded, so not much more to go. I finally hatched my first shiny. My VERY FIRST one! I wasn't even trying, just breeding and hatching to fill my 'Dex. Was a Sandile, and I'm gonna evolve him once, to Krookorok, then give him an everstone. I like the blue w/the yellow on him.

Today's the last day to get the Eon Ticket in the OR/AS games. It allows you to get Latias in OR and Latios in AS.

And I've decided to start talking about Pokemon Shuffle. It's a fun little game. It's free to download off the eShop on the 3DS. I heard negative rumors that it's just like Candy Crush, but I never played CC, so I just wish it'd give you 10 turns every 'cycle' instead of 5, but, I guess that's the point of them wanting you to spend money tho. I finally caught Mew last night. I could've swore that I had to get my Pokemon up to lv.10 each, but no. It was relatively easy to catch, just took forever to train up my Pokemon up enough. Purrloin an lv.7, Sableye at lv.5, and both bugs, Illumise and Volbeat, lv.2. I also saved up my money to about 12,000, worrying about how many Great Balls I'd need for Mew, because there's only about a week left to catch it, but it only took one. Guess I kinda overshot that one. lol
