RP: Crusaders

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back here, ive been extremely busy. i hope you will excuse my absence. To kick things off, im creating an rp. New character as well. Hope it turns out enjoyable.


In an age where technology is at its peak, the year 3032, many men doubted the newly found cyborg race. A corporation known as COT (control over technology)has started production of a line of cyborgs to replace soldiers and eliminate the meed for human destruction. As the company finished porduction, a war soon borke out among all civilization. There were many skeptics who believed the cyborgs could not be controlled, so they attacked COT facilities. However, the cyborgs that had previously been harmless toward humans defended themselves when provoked, and the war raged.
Massively overpowered, the skeptics were demolished, but through their actions, the cyborgs became hostile. when COT realized this, they cut production. But the cyborgs had grown smart and were worried for their existance, so they began to produce more like themselves. Eventually, they had an army large enough to begin overthrowing the governements of the world. Eventually, it became a cyborg infested planet. run by a robotic governement, life continued.. Very few human beings have hope for the freedom of humanity, but a small organization, completely under the radar, is still rebelling. They still search for members and hope to someday overthrow the cyborgs, though they already disobey at any chance they get.


Name: Joshua Roberts (AKA Firebird)
Age: 34

Appearance: Tall and extremely well built. Dresses the same for casual or combat, with a black combat vest and black jeans with orange and yellow flames etched into the bottoms of the legs. Also has black gloves with the fingers and palms cut out and a dark grey bandana covering his long black hair.
Weapons: A single blaster pistol that emits high intensity lasers. uses in emergency situations only.
Armour: bulletproof combat vest. otherwise relies on speed alone.
Magic/skills: Control over fire due to an elemental chip that was installed in him at creation. Also allows him complete resistance to fire.
Personality: Depends on the situation. if nothing of great importance is happening, he can have a great sense of humor and be very friendly. but when he has a mission or is in combat, nothing matters to him but success.
History: A normal human being at first, despite his father who was considered the hero of many wars. When bounty hunters from Omega attempted to destroy his father, he was badly burned and wounded. Doctors said he could not live with the damage he had suffered, but his father wouldnt except it. he had the best technicians in the world install steel and software into Joshua, filling in any missing portions of his body. They covered the showing steel with a skin like silicon and activated him. but even in his genetically altered state, the doctors feared for his life. They didnt believe he could survive with the burns he had sustained. But his father had them install a recently confiscated fire element chip into his cerebrum, granting him resistancy from and control over fire. But, having spent som uch attention tending to his son, the father died due to the injuries that he sustained in the attack. Joshua set out to find the person resposible and avenge his father.

Name: Greg Freeze (A.K.A Frostbite)
Age: 24

Weapons: A spear called Tomegra. Infused with the power of a mutant ice beast, it has ice powers.
Armor: (See figurine)
Magic/skills: After exposure to the dna of a mutant ice beast, Greg gained the ability to use ice powers. Including making it and forming into it. He is also now immune to even the coldest temperatures and hot temperatures dont bother him as he can cool himself internally.
Personality: Calm, questioning, anti-social and above all: Impatient.
History: He was a normal human, as all humans would be. He signed up as a test subject for money at the Silbar labs. A mutant ice beast was created and broke free, he managed to defeat it and they decided that they wanted to create a super-human in the hopes of crushing the cyborgs. The beast's DNA was infused with a spear named Tomegra and it had ice powers. After extended use of the spear and much testing done directly on himself, Greg became one with the element of ice. Cyborgs raided the lab and killed everyone while Greg was being infused with some more DNA. He swore to avenge his employers death and test his new powers on the cyborgs responsible.

okay transmutation is making like a sword from thin air

alchemy is the study of making science into matter

ex:penny+gold=more gold

"Well then, where the hell is it?" Firebird demanded, yelling into his wrist as he dashed down the deserted corridor. "If you lost the damn thing, i swear to god..."
"Sir, im sure we'll find it..." said a voice, sounding from Firebird's wrist.
"Be sure that you do..." he roared, tapping his wrist at the sound of a nearby explosion.
He began to run much faster and spun around a corner.

"runs into someone"
whats your problem don't you see im going somewhere"

Greg casually strolled around the corner and ended up in front of Firebird, he seemed distressed and was probably investigating the explosion, "Move" he stated coldly, as it was a narrow hallway, "I don't like slow getaways, especially after I've just blown something up."

"dammit people these days don't know where they're going"

Greg looked at Edward, "Excuse me" he said, tapping him on the shoulder, "But would you care to run, as after my little explosion stunt, you can expect tons of cyborgs to come in say ten seconds..."

((soz, GMFL. Id just prefer not to have the good old *action* style in the rp. Say something like
Edward ran into someone in his hurry. "(insert quote here)".
think you can do that for me?))

"Who the hell do you think you are to be giving me orders?" Firebird demanded, rushed. "Or more importantly, what the hell do you think you're doing?"

Greg shook his head at Firebird, "I think I'm Greg Freeze, you can call me Frostbite" he stated, "And I think I'm running away from the trouble I just created, now if you don't mind" he added, pushing Firebird out of the way and walking down the hall.

Firebird froze, glancing down the corriders as several cyborgs piled in from the opening.
"Not a bad idea..." he muttered frantically, slowly turning to follow Greg. "What did you blow up to get their attention this bad?"

edward shook his head "no cyborg is going to catch me"

Greg groaned, "Same thing I always blow up" he replied, "Their reaserch labs, I'm bloody surprised that they still have them, seeing as this is the sixty-fifth one i've totalled" he added, bolting down the corridor.

"Well unless you plan on running, i think they might have a different opinion..." Firebird muttered, glancing at Edward. "So you are against the cyborgs...?" he added, catching up with Frostbite.

FrostBite smiled, although it wasn't apparent through his armor, he looked at Joshua, while still running, "I guess so" he replied, "I mean they did destroy my only friends and my only source of income, so I'm just paying them back... an eye for an eye, a lab for well sixty labs..."

"Just go with an even hundred, i doubt you're done yet..." Firebird smirked, slowing down slightly. "Now if youll excuse me, ive got my own agenda to attend to..."
He came to a sudden stop and turned to hi left, pulling out a small pistol and firing it at the wall several times. He rammed into the gap between the holes, plowing through the wall.
"Which way is it?" he yelled into his wrist.
