RP: The Legions of Light and Dark

''I'm surprised that you can pronounce it,'' retorted the figure, now hovering in the air. ''You do not intimidate me, Archangel; your threats are no more than overstatements. It is not surprising that you cower behind the Light Legion.''

"We do not cower. We are the Light Legion, and everything it stands for. Which you think isn't much..." He smiled, a very small smile, "But the Light Legion has more power in one of it's hairs than the Dark Legion has in its whole infantry." He readyed his sword once more.
"Now if you don't mind, can we get this battle started?"

River sighed "so much Hatred.... would you all grow up and and not act like a bunch of Spoiled Brats?"

"Would you be quiet and act like a mature member of the Light Legion?" Mocked Mist, still ready for battle.

River Rolled her eyes and hit Mist across the head "Shut up and be Nicer to a Woman..."

''Would you like to know what that creature was?'' the figure asked calmly, a murderous grin across his face while he indicated the fallen creature several feet away. ''That, my adversaries, was an Un-Demon. One who defected from the Dark Legion in hope to defeat us. After glimpsing the depths of my strength, I will allow you the opportunity to retract your previous statement.''

Suryuu walked up spinning a Sphere of water in his hands. " uh, what's goin' on? " asked Suryuu

Blade decided it wasn't time to talk to someone else "Just shut your mouth, if you're going to fight, fight, if not, slink back to hell" Blade said

''What gives you an impression that thriving in Hell is a negativity?'' the figure asked coldly. ''Perhaps you are the one who should keep your mouth shut - if you have no idea what the Underworld is, or simply no intellect, then I would advise you to think with your brain, if you possess one.''

"you keep talkin and in a second YOU won't have a brain" Blade said bracing his sword.

" woah, woah, what Tension. this should be an intersting fight. " said Suryuu sitting down

''He is the only one who sustains tension,'' the figure said simply. ''It appears that all of your egocentricity is rushing to your head, Archangel. I can't think of any other reason for you to be so feeble-minded.''

" egocen-what? " asked the Suryuu scratching and tilting his head

(he's right if i fight like this i won't be able to release my elements in controlled amounts...) Blade thought. He took a deep breath and let it out (much better) Blade though "well? are you going to fight or not?" Blade asked calmly.

"Ever the anxious one," said the figure. "But I can see that you have taken my advice. I will battle with you, Archangel, on the grounds that you throw the first hit."

"if you insist FEATHER WIND!" Blade shouted as his powerful wings sung senging a strong wind at him with some golden feathers shooting at him through the wind like darts.

"I will now demonstrate the extents of my power," the figure said coldly, unsheathing a blade from its belt. "Misery, come forth!" Immediately, the ten-inch blade was resized to a voluminous five feet, and shrouded in perpetual dark flame. The figure rapidly spun his sword in a circular motion, blocking Blade's attack and releasing a powerful blast of fire that propelled them back at their creator.

Blade created a barrier of light that blocked the counter attack "not bad, where'd ya get the sword? the back of a cereal box?" Blade taunted shooting fire balls at his opponent.

''Only professionals are eligible to play with fire,'' said the figure. ''I will show you why I am called Nascour Darkfire.''
Nascour raised one hand and created a wave of dark energy that swept through the air, stopping Blade's fireballs and engulfing them in darkness. The tainted and empowered spheres rocketed at high velocity toward Blade, while Nascour teleported behind his opponent, densifying the oxygen in the air and making it hard for him to breathe while launching a powerful inferno at his back.

Blade coughed and fell on one knee "i'll show you why they call me Blade" Blade said as he spun his blade deflecting the flames and continued to spin it as he swung at his leg.
