Moderators...

Why are there so many? One hundred is a ridiculous amount of Moderators and the Moderator count exceeds even that. Why not just appoint more Super Moderators. I've only ever seen one Super Moderator.

Our Super Mods aren't reely active, that's true..as for the many mods, well we have lots of members and we get tons of posts every day and even with so many mods people still tend to get away with a lot as lot of things are still unnoticed.

Also the mods aren't online 24/7, so that's why some forums have more then one to.

Our (at least mine that is) priority is to make sure that these forums are safe and enjoyable for our members.

Why note promote more? I'm sure there are some good choices for Super Mods. Avoid promoting ShadowGX into one though, she seems like a terrible Mod.

I know that. But it would be best if that applied to the bigger forums only.

I understand your priority. But if 75% of active member are Moderators, then that declines enjoyment. I've seen two forums go overboard because they have had so many Moderators. Oh well, it's not my say, of course. I was just pointing out.

I have browesed over forums such as General Chat and most of the Pok�mon forums and I have realised a vast majority of the "regulars" tend to be Moderators. Bar the Team Rating Forum.

I hope not, there are plenty of intelligent members here and this board is a pretty good one.

Check Page 50 of Team Solarbeam.

ShadowGX is a great and well respected mod. dont go around judging people since you've only been here 3 days. we dont appreciate you going around calling people "immature" either

No comment on the ShadowGX issue, but I'm pretty sure everyone is entitled to an opinion. Although I must admit I wouldn't go as far as calling her a great mod.

@ The Topic - 900 forums and 123 moderators at the time of posting. Hardly an overload, although we are trying to keep the mod count below 100...

Volke, no offense but you have been here three days yet you are stiring trouble and qeustioning how this site is run. I want you to look at the number of members comared to the number of mods. The mods are all doing a great job keeping the spam and flamming down. And if anyone breaks the rules excesivly, the admins will step in and warn, or ban the member.

He isn't stirring trouble, he's just sharing an opinion (and if you ask me, SGX isn't a "great" mod either.)

As well, we need this many mods to tend to a lot of forums, although not very many are active every day.....unlike me.

We have 1 mod for every 8 forums.

There are 1244012 posts which is over 10,000 each per mod to make sure its clean (grant it is ovre time)

and Im not her 24 hrs a day, an hour on supercheats is about my average.

Yeah, the number of mods here is the least of our worries. And the reason you haven't seen too many Smods is because there are only about 5 (i think), and I think 4 of them aren't as active as they should be.

I'll only need five minutes on a site to judge people such as ShadowGX and Yossy666 who immediately called me a n00b just because I stated my intellect clearly passes their own. It is because of this I, therefore, class them as poor Moderators. Anywayone who is that harsh to new members just because they act, and probably are, far more mature than them (ShadowGX being eighteen years old is the biggest load of rubbish I've heard in my short time here).

And I don't appreciate being called a n00b by Moderators. I'm sure we understand each other.

And there are five Administrators? That's strange.

no there are 3 now.

Only three? If you promote the good Moderators to Super Moderators and remove the bad Moderators (such as ShadowGX and Yossy666) then you will have less Moderators and this site will look less likely like a site that promotes Moderators in the drop of a hat.
