Jiraiya threw three cards on the ground. These cards are to tell what type of chakra you weild. The group placed their hands on the cards and allowed the chakra flow through them. Based on the cards response Kyoumou was obviously a water chakra weilder.

As Domon watched he got bored and fell asleep. "I'll absorb his Chakra and finally be able to..." Domon said as his sentence was stopped short for he fell down to the floor hard and kept on sleeping.

Jiraiya answered quickly. "Alone. You each get to choose the spot but no matter what it has to do with your element. The only things you are allowed to bring are study materials on your new style of jutsu other than that you will have to find for yourself."
