I hardly see how this is a life or death situation, this is just st00pid.

Still I don't know how to help, I don't look at pr0n on my computer so I wouldn't need to delete the history.

Ok here's the deal. When the list comes down as in the previous search strings, you either hover your mouse pointer over the search string or using the keyboard arrows. Press delete when it has been "highlighted".
One more thing. It's not Google's memory. Google has far more important stuff to do than remember what the hell you searched. The computer remembers it.
