To be honest I have studied deeper into this and now I think it's going to be a repeat of tu24 ( asteroid that was meant to hit earth), where it will get people shivering and nothing happens, then every goes angry.

Either that or people will start saying stuff like:
"Oh I can't believe you fell for it like! I never believed it in the first place."
That kind of thing and people will realise how silly they were.

More info (continued from other info post)

The meteor that is coming to hit us in 75 years, is actually projected to hit on another day the planets align.

There is another theory, about the planets alignment.

Supposedly when the planets align, the gravitational forces manage to stop all 8 (or 9 is you count Pluto) from rotating. Aparrently if this happend the oceans would instantly boil.

Obviously that would suck...badly.

For anyone who doesn't know, I used to be Tree Afro.

You will come to understand fear as I have...

Actually it's cut down to 7 now. Neptune has been demoted!
In any case, it's extremely hard to boil the oceans due to their size.
Ever heard the "Collision Theory" in Chemistry.
Things only react if there are more collisions on a molecular/atomic level.
Hence why powdered sugar dissolves more quickly than sugar cubes because the sugar powder has a larger surface area and so more chances for the molecules to collide with each other and commence the "reaction".
So since the oceans are HUGE it would be (dare I say it) virtually impossible to boil or freeze them over entirely.

It would take something EXTREMElY massive to boil one ocean by itself. I doubt the Meteor could be that big.

Why was neptune demoted?
Great, I'm moving. Who knows when you'll see me again.

Neptune? Not big enough? Excuse me?

I think we're getting mixed up between Neptune and Pluto here. Neptune, to the best of my knowledge, is still a planet; indeed, I see no reason why it shouldn't be, as it's very similar in size and composition to Uranus, I believe. Besides, if Neptune was too small to be a planet, so would we. Biggest of the inner planets Earth may be, but we're still not much more than a quarter the size of Neptune in terms of diameter, and far less in terms of mass.

I'm not kidding. This is what I heard what you said.
Basically yeah, but not like too small. It's smaller than some meteors, but they aren't considered planets so no point...

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to see some evidence, not to mention a valid reason, before I believe that. Like I say, I've heard nothing about this. Where did you hear about it?

I doubt something like this would happen. However there was a huge thing on the discover channel about this some time ago. I wish i could believe but i mean a mystery planet isn't likely. unless it is pulled into orbit by each planet in the line...

Yes sorry, mixed up the two, it is pluto. Anyway, This I was wondering if there is going to be planet knock us off orbit then, well where is it at the moment?

Another planet knocking us off our orbit?
So unlikely it's impossible and never going to happen.
For another planet to knock us off our orbit that would mean for some reason or other that planet had come out of it's own orbit in order to go "astray". It just wouldn't happen.
Even if say for that planet's solar system the sun "blew up" or became a red dwarf or whatever...It's more likely the planet would be destroyed in the process because of the huge amount of energy involved.

apparently, we have enough energy in our left nostril to boil the oceans waters.

That isn't really true, see if your going to standby the sea and Blow through your nostril, you are not going to boil it are you, so lets try and be a bit more realistic, also back on topic. No more heating the sea with your nostrils.

i dont beleive the world ending thing, but, i know this:
6/6/06 was supposedely the birth of the Anti-Christ, people thought that this colud have been the end, but, the anti christ would be in a human form, or anything else, it would have to have time to grow and get bigger/older or stronger, therefore, if this is all true, 2012 COULD be a possibility, but i am even unsure of this bc there have been other gens. with 06 as the last 2 digits so why would ours be the one that loses?
1906, 1806, 1706, etc.

You do realise that was actually an advert for a movie yeah?
Besides it doesn't work due to that zero being in front of the 6. It has to be 666...
Now we've gotten into a religious thing...........

well 06 is tha only way to get 666
cause 06 is still 6
no other way to get it
it is a religious thing, a movie isnt the thing that created it
its in the bible and various religions that some sort of demon is born on 6/6/06the 06 is unpredictable of what 06 yr it is tho

No double posting. Deleted.

Personally, being an atheist, I'm rather skeptical about any religious angles on this. Well, I'm skeptical about the subject in general, but particularly the religious arugments for it.

I'd doubt this would happend, if it did, wouldn't this be all around the world then? And that day the dooms day arrives, that's when a meteor crashes the world or that a planet would crash into our planet when that planet have left its orbit wich i'd doubt would happend but it might be possible in the future. And besides, all religions have their own story of dooms day so why would just this one be true? If anyone would give a good argument on this I will shut up and I won't say anything again in this topic.
