I still Play MW2 Alot, for quite a few reasons.
If you don't believe all "hackers" are douchebags out to ruin you, click this:

I was in a match once happily semi-quickscoping/quickscoping on prestige 2 rank but then there was a hacker on that match and made nearly everyone prestige 9 and I was like what the? I want prestige 2 back D:

Just an FYI, most of the lobbies give you ingame XP for rank ups, few actually mod your stats to alter prestige, so if you shutdown your ps3/xbox, your rank shouldn't be affected. not guaranteed, though. do you play on PS3 or Xbox?

Heh, I had about 60-70% of all the challenges unlocked on around prestige 6 or 7 (can't remember) now, when I got an auto-70 lobby. So I prestiged again, backed out of that lobby and worked my way up to level 43 or something, then my mate was playing and someone sent him a message about a private gun-game lobby he joined, turned out to be a CL - so that's where everything got unlocked. Then I prestiged the account again, and then I was hitting CLs or auto-70 lobbies every lobby I got into -,-
But I'm not really complaining, I did do all the challenges for the guns I like using, the rest where a pain in the *** haha.

I didn't even had the option to keep prestiging when I hit 70, because I liked being prestige 2 so yeah I went from prestige 2 to prestige 9 like that lol. I own a PS3 cause I'm a little cheap :P

I use ps3 too.
You would never see Hack lobbies on mw2 untill Geohot got out that Firmware, then every kid with a usb stick was hosting them. I get the kids with names like "SNiiPeZ_HOST_CL" adding me and asking me for the patch I use.

Lol, my brother in law was in a lobby with two boosters, and it was pretty obvious that they were boosting. I went into a different lobby, no hackers / boosters. XD
