On a back on topic note, I'd love a new FFVII game. I did read that there keeping the games or whatever coming up until the 20th anniversary, so we're bound to see something. A remake will happen someday as they seem to be remaking other games anyway, it'll just be a looooong time. A sequel would be nice as long as most of the original characters are in it properly this time, not another DOC affair. I know that one of the creators said that Advent was the end of Cloud's story, but surely that can't mean he wont be in anymore games. *tries to be hopeful*

Anyways, Advent being the end of Cloud's story, doesn't mean its the end of FFVII's story. They could have another character as the main person. But as you said, not another DoC. Like Crisis Core, it told the story of before it, and had Cloud in it before his FF7 and AC days. I dunno if what I just said makes sense to you though lol, it doesn't to me.

Basically what I mean is another FF7 game, just not as terrible as DoC. There, plain and simple =]

I don't see any point to keep on concentrating on one game out of a whole series...it's VII, so there then was VIII, IX...etc. for a reason.

They move on and so should everyone.

FFVII was the most successful in the series so far though.

Yeah, which is why they're trying to keep it going. People get suckered into buying it for the plain fact its FF VII, myself included lol

please lets move on,FF VII was good but it wasn't so awesome that you can make a prequel,sequel and movie about it.

Actually yeah, I'm more excited about FF XIII coming to 360 than a FF VII remake tbh

I wouldnt mind seeing all of the older ones remade. XIII im sorry to say im not that interested in as yet!! To me it just looks like a fancy version of DoC. But im sure i will get a lot of you guys telling me otherwise.

Lets hope its not like DoC. But remakes of the older ones would be equally as nice, if not, ncier!

I'd love to see both VII and VIII remade, I love FFVIII just as much as VII.

Same here, I was never much of a fan of IX though

I liked FFVIII, that would have to be my second fav in the series.
