You know on the west (left) side of the the Calm Lands there is a ledge? Can you get down there?

If you're talking about the place where the Magus sisters are, then yes. All you have to do is find a girl riding a chocobo. Then, say to her "I want to train one!". Then, if you beat the trainer in the final challenge, the woman guarding the ledge will be gone.

are you talking about the cliff secion where you are looking over spira and that has the senery of the deserst? or is it the area where the wild chocobos walk freely by the cliff. is that what you are saying? if so than no you cant get down there. or the leige where you can get Yogimbo...

are you talking about the part that has someone standing in front of it? if so then you just need to win the Catcher Chocobo race when your training the chocobo and he'll move out of the way. make sure you have the celestial mirror before you do that though, because you'll need it to obtain Tidus's celestial weapon

other than the one i just mentioned (with the man standing in the way), there is no other ledge you can go on. im looking at the strategy guide, and see nothing there.

You can only go to the Al Bhed shop, the monster arena, the slope to get Tidus's weapon from the wall with the man loking the way, bottom left hand corner to go to the temple(which you need a chocobo, the way you came in from Macalania Woods and the top lft hand corner going to the montains-there are [u][/u]NO other places you can get to

i know were he's on about you need to go on foot to see it thou go to were them chocobos are wlakin around on there own (should be about 2 or 3 of them on the far left) you'll see a lower ledge but you can't get down to it!!
