Yiazmat and Hellwyrm

Still wasn't much of a challenge though because if you do everything in the game then you will be on a very high lvl and he's easy to beat even on a low lvl. I think the final boss in any FF game should be really strong since it is the last fight in the game. So it should be a hard one.

Vayne was pathetic. I was disappointed with our battle. And the undying was barely hard. But it was extremely annoying how he did that double spell thing like seymour from FFX.

Hellwyrm was fun, and by fun I mean setting all my gambits, and equipment then getting a bunch of items, and let the people fight him while I slept.

Yiazmat was just a b*tch. He was hard, made me spend all my items, and when you got his health down to a certian amount, he would have this damage limiter on him, so your attacks would do less damage. That whirlwind thing didn't help either, and I hated his deathstrike, and how it almost always killed someone.

But it was a good battle.

Has anyone fought Omega MK XII? That Mimic in the great crystal?

I haven't, but I've looked at the walkthroughs. He doesn't seem like he'd be that hard, have on attacker, one decoy/defender, since his attacks do about 5000+ damage each hit, and 1 healer, he'll go down in no time.

I've seen a good strategy for Omega aswell, this strategy was only used because the characters were all low lvl's. Zodiark was used the most in this battle one character was used to keep Omega busy so that if the others moved away a little he wouldn't start regaining his life. So the character that was being used to keep Omega busy had reverse and to make it last a lot longer than usual stop was also cast since reverse will not wear off while stop was on then the character that had Zodiark had petrify so Zodiark would use his ultimate attack since he is capable of taking down 50,000 hp. This was repeated for the whole battle it would take a while but its really easy to beat him this way.

Seems kinda repetitive, but it works I guess.

Yeah I'd use the same strategy as Yiazmat for Omega the other one would take too long.

My stratergy for everything is attack and heal when I need it.

Thats probably the main strategy everyone uses and it works except for really strong bosses. Another thing that you can do for a strong boss is when you see them about to do a strong attack if you have an accessory or armour to absorb the damage switch to then switch back after.

Yeah that's a good idea, but my streategy hasnt failed me yet and I've beaten almost all the hunts, plus Gilgamesh and Vayne.

I used that strategy aswell throughout the entire game I just did other stuff aswell against the strong bosses. I found it pretty tuff when I fought Gilgamesh the 2nd time round compared to how easy the 1st fight is.

Yeah I agree, but I prevailed in the end. I wasn only around level 55 too.

My people are either level 60(Vaan Balthier Fran) or 56 (Basch, Ashe, Penello) but I haven't done the second fight yet. I smoked him the first time, almost didn't get the genji stuff because he was dying too fast. :P

I was only around that lvl when I played through the 1st time but the 2nd time when I got to Gilgamesh all my characters were over lvl 70.

Nice. I found Gilgamesh to be a challenge, but I overcame him in the end.

Stopping his dog Enkidu 1st made the battle a little easier.

I took down Enkidu, but the battle was still a bit difficult.

Yeah I still found it a little difficult aswell but it does make it a little easier when Gilgamesh is on his own.

Yeah I know. Took a serious toll on my items though.
