Braviary is a better pun because the sounds of the words flow really well and because it is much more descriptive than wargle. The only way you could understand wargle would be if you saw that it was based on an eagle and, knew that the game was set in a country based on America, and understood the stereotype that America is eager to fight. However, braviary is pretty descriptive of it being brave and avian. It sounds much better, and is much more clever than keeping the Japanese name.

I would have still preferred my Vulture names for the Vulture line.

Condora > Vulturous (or) Vulturious

Based on info from Serebii.net, Victini is keeping it's Japanese name. I was hoping it'd stay that way.

Apparently, either all or almost all US names for the 5th gen have been released.

In my opinion, most of them suck. Maybe cause I was used to the better sounding Japanese names. -_-'

Yeah, I don't really care for most of the names either. At least we can nickname them. But honestly, some of the Japanese names were better.
