i used Blastoise(starter), Pikachu(good for 1st, 4th and champ), Butterfree(great help), and Flareon(good help for 1st and for the champ==Venusaur==)

It was easy for me on my first try, didn't have to make much of an effort...

Zapdos Lv51
Moltres Lv51
Articuno Lv51
Haunter or Raichu(LOL i don't remember) Lv42 or 43

For the first time, you don't need to train too much. Just around Lv50 to 55 is enough, and a team covering all types.
I've heard that the second time is really difficult, and I'm still training for it... :P

My team is Articuno,Joelton/ Zapdos, Moltres/Arcanine, Alakazam/Mr. Mime, Blastoise, and Dragonite what moves should they have?

I use Charizard, Nidoking, Snorlax, Lapras, Pikachu, and Dragonair

Charizard and jolteon with fillers. Now again with dragonite and venasaur with fillers. DUOS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!
Who needs a full team anyways.

hehei like it i used charizard blastoise venusaur zapdos articuno and moltres

i used charizard,zapdos,articuno,moltress,lapras and gengar

i used these on my pokemon red gbc file.
Poliwrath, Raichu, Aerodactyl, Venasaur, Flareon and Snorlax.

Sort of based of the manga, apart from Eevee is replaced with Flareon

Level 80 Vaporeon solo. Because Vaporeon is the absolute boss.

Cheated to get lots of Elixers. Otherwise I'd never have had the patience to even get anywhere near the Elite Four.

Had to teach it Return too so that it wasn't absolute poo against Lorelei, here is the set:

PP Up'd all the moves like a boss.

Third time: Deoxys, Alakazam, Ho-oh, Electabuzz, Victreebel, Egg
Fourth time: Deoxys, Mewtwo, Alakazam, Ho-oh, Electabuzz, Victreebel
