OK, I was playing the game and I ran into this one room with all these pictures of different people and this strange floating body and all these red trash can like thingys. So I open one of the cans and this strange red bag pops out and starts shaking and making crazy sniffing sounds like the Regenerators, so I try to kill it but nothing happens. What the hell is going on?

that might just be a glitch in your game because that never happened to me............................ wait are you talking about the room with a dumpster in it as soon as you walk into it???

As darksayian992 said it might be a glitch in your game, OR it could be the condition of your disk.
