Leaving characters

Samus and Mewtwo? What are you on? They're nothing alike.

The only thing Jigglypuff and Kirby have in common is the float jump.

He was probably referring to the fact that both of them charge up their B attacks.

Anyway, both bottom tier characters should be removed.

Having one attack vaguely similar makes them the same now? Bowser and Yoshi both have a ground-pound attack. Does that make them clones?

there not clones becuase unlike yoshi boswer is sorta good yoshi just plan sucks

Actually, in Melee, Yoshi was better than Bowser, even though both weren't recommended characters.

Look at the table I posted on the previous page. It clearly shows that the only characters worse than Bowser are Mewtwo and Pichu. Bowser would be a lot better if he wasn't so slow.

Sadly, Ness, Luigi, Jigglypuff, and Captain Falcon are clearly gone *sigh* it won't be the same without them

Do you have any evidence to back up this speculation? If not, then theres no proof that they are leaving.

Luigi and Captain Falcon are the ones I want back most out of those four, Luigi's moves could easily be changed. Plus C.Falcon was 100% original.

I havent read much of this forum but with what i have read you think that ice climbers are out when they are actually in.

Who thinks that? I think your mistaken, we are discussing about other melee characters that are yet to be announced.

It proves that Nintendo Power are impatient idiots who like to spread rumours. That fact that Samurai Goroh, Captain Falcon's F-Zero series rival, is an assist trophy would give away the fact that Captain Falcon will soon be confirmed. If he isn't confirmed after that news, then let's just say that it's probably the most idiotic thing they could do to Brawl.

I agree with Roy and Pichu, but Mewtwo could be made much better.

Agree with Volke there, Mewtwo has some potential in Smash and, if vastly improved upon, could be a decent character in Brawl.

As for this claim bout Cap'n, Luigi, Ness an Jiggly...

Ness could very well have been replaced by Lucas, but we can't be sure on that since theres no confirmation and clues to hint that he will return.
Luigi is a big enough mascot in his own right so has to return.
C. Falcon is one of the main Nintendo mascots (being the main protagonist of the F-Zero games) so has to return, especially with the Samurai Goroh update.
Jigglypuff is a tricky one, considering we have both Pikachu and the Pok�mon Trainer. Despite that it's likely she will return.
