1st one is actually pretty good, I just hate the part in the upper right section. Lighting is bad though. Nothing much to say for the second one.

...It looks like you just liquified or applied some distortion filters for 90% of the first one, then pasted a render and that cross and added those weird lights. And then got to the second from the first by applying some other filter.
...Am I right in thinking so?
